The 2nd 'Bread Music Group' will be held on April 6 at Samdong Voice Town.
As the bright spring flowers begin to bloom in warm April, skilled artists have gathered with good intentions to meet children more beautiful than flowers.
The 'Bread Music Group' noted, "Violist Kim Nam-joong, haegeum player Noh Eun-a, tenor Yoon Jung-soo, jazz pianist Song Yea-bin, and other artists will personally meet the children to present a beautiful concert," adding, "We plan to share wonderful music that aligns with the children's level."
This year marks the 2nd event for the 'Bread Music Group,' which will be held on April 6 at 3 p.m. at Samdong Voice Town located in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Established in 1952 to protect children who lost parents and siblings during the Korean War, Samdong Voice Town is home to over 50 children and teenagers. It operates with the aim of providing a nurturing environment for healthy and happy growth and independence.
'Bread Music Group' Director General Lee Ju-hee said, "By God's grace, we launched the first Bread Music Group last year," and added, "There were many concerns about whether it was possible to start, but thanks to the precious artists and partners who came together, we were able to hold a wonderful concert. The smiles on the children's faces remain unforgettable even a year later. Since that day, I have been praying while looking forward to this year. I am so grateful that there are artists willing to serve again this year. Especially, this child protection center is more special to me because my husband lived here when he was young. I thank everyone who collaborates with us in the spirit of 'the same heart, the same purpose, the same vision' (1 Corinthians 1:10). I will go to meet our lovely children holding 'love in one hand and bread in the other.'"
Jang Jeong-mi, head of Samdong Voice Town, expressed her gratitude, saying, "It's very important for children's healthy growth that they have emotional stability, and I'm thankful that such wonderful individuals have come together to hold this concert," and added, "I hope this day's concert becomes a beautiful memory in the children's lives."
The music concert hosted by the 'Bread Music Group' on April 6 will be supported by various organizations, including the Human and Human International Corporation, the Mannam Soloist Ensemble composed of professional performers from Bundang Mannam Church, the Life-Saving Reporters Group, The New, That Kind of Studio, Raemian Bakery, Kim Bang-seop, head of team from Anyang Spring Light Hospital, OUWR, and Haneulbit.
