The actress Cha Joo-young's 'hobby rich' aspect drew attention.

On the 16th, the TV Chosun program 'Chef Heo Young-man's Baekban Journey' (hereafter Baekban Journey) featured the lead roles of the drama 'The Glory' and 'The Queen Who Crowns', the trending actress Cha Joo-young, who traveled to Hamppyeong, the hometown of butterflies.

Cha Joo-young and the chef went to taste the newly made red bean porridge from the legendary 'famous red bean enthusiast' who traveled across the country to find the best red bean porridge.

There were also behind-the-scenes stories from the filming of 'The Glory'. Cha Joo-young revealed, "I love carbohydrates, and my nickname is rice cake fairy. So, I gained a lot of weight during 'The Glory'. Since then, I haven't been able to fully return to my previous self. Not yet."

Despite the effort to gain weight, Cha Joo-young replied that she was "satisfied" with 'The Glory.' The chef remarked, "Great satisfaction should come with substantial earnings," and Cha Joo-young humorously replied, "Then I guess I need to work a bit harder."

The two then headed to a Chinese restaurant with an annual revenue of 600 million won. While ordering ketchup sweet and sour pork, Cha Joo-young's bike, the 'hobby rich,' was also mentioned.

When the chef asked, "Have you ever taken that bike to get food?" Cha Joo-young replied, "I have. I wanted to order tteokbokki, but the store was closing soon. So, I rode there. But all the delivery people were there. I was blending in like a delivery person myself," he laughed.

Additionally, they visited a restaurant that directly prepares chicken as part of a course meal. Upon finding the restaurant, the chef noted, "Isn't it famous for sending fans home by taxi?" referencing the cheerful back-and-forth with fans, dubbed 'Kkukgu,' who arrived on set, which has become a hot topic on social media regarding Cha Joo-young.

Cha Joo-young remarked, "The reason I got to be on Baekban Journey is that the fans wanted me to do a variety show. In fact, I had no intention of doing it at all. There was something the fans gave me a while ago to check. They told me to check off what I would like to do if I had to appear on a variety show—Baekban Journey and Korean People's Dining Table. Fortunately, they contacted me. Though it was a promise only I knew about, I thought I could keep it, so I appeared," showcasing her deep affection for her fans.

After finishing her chicken mukbang, Cha Joo-young said, "There’s a movie coming out soon. It’s something I filmed after 'The Queen Who Crowns.' There is a movie called 'Lobby' that features entertaining hospitality. It’s a comedy. While we took it seriously, thinking it was a serious piece, it’s that kind of film," introducing her next project.
