Singer Cho Jang-hyuk expressed his thoughts on the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol.

Recently, Cho posted on his social media account that there should be a regulation stating that lawmakers who initiated the impeachment must resign if it is dismissed by the Constitutional Court.

Earlier, Cho wrote that he opposed President Yoon Suk-yeol's impeachment after the emergency management situation on Dec. 3, and on the 8th, when President Yoon was released, he also left a statement saying 'good governance and evil punishment.'

This is not the first time Cho has made politically colored remarks. During the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, he said, 'The phrase that people come first still lingers in my ears, but I guess it was just a campaign slogan. Do I alone feel this disappointment toward the state?'

Meanwhile, Cho's 'right-wing celebrity coming out' has brought renewed attention to celebrities who previously expressed support for President Yoon Suk-yeol. Noh Hyun-hee, Choi Jun-yong, Yoo Tung, Kim Heung-guk, JK Kim Dong-wook, Cha Kang-seok, Kim Woo-ri, and others have voiced support for President Yoon. They have also been listed on the site 'Criminal Yoon,' which is disclosing the 'list of suspects for insurrection.'

On the other hand, Cho debuted in 1996 with 'Even If You Leave.'
