'Bride training' Kim Jong-min holds a 'wedding invitation meeting' ahead of his wedding on April 20.
In the 155th episode of Channel A's 'Recent Male Life - Bride Training' airing at 9:30 p.m. on the 19th (Wednesday), Kim Jong-min meets H.O.T. member Tony An and spends a day together at the 'wedding invitation meeting.'
On this day, Kim Jong-min picks up Tony An in his car and heads somewhere. Having forged a friendship as 'native brothers' in a 2006 variety show, the two meet up for a heartfelt exchange. Tony An expresses his early congratulations on Kim Jong-min's marriage, saying, 'You look great.' Kim Jong-min shares that he wants to give good energy by handing over the invitation in person.
Having yet to see Kim Jong-min's fiancée, Tony An subtly asks, 'What was your first impression of her?' Kim Jong-min shyly replies, 'I thought she was really nice.' Then, Tony An throws a direct question: 'Did you exchange contact information and maybe even kiss right away?'
Kim Jong-min responds, 'We got close after meeting a few days later,' and counter-questions, 'Why did you break up with the last person you met?' Tony An briefly looks taken aback and mentions his former cohabitant, Kim Jae-duk, saying, '(Kim) Jae-duk?' He confesses the reason for his separation, stating, 'We lived together for about 15 to 16 years. We were almost like a middle-aged couple. Though there were crises, we overcame them. At some point, it felt like we would be living together until we're 60. So, we agreed to divorce.'
Bursting into laughter, Kim Jong-min asks seriously, 'Do you have a girlfriend now?' Tony An replies, 'I don't have a girlfriend. However, I think the time has come to consider marriage,' revealing his change of heart. He adds, 'Hanni is getting married, so I feel the pressure. I think I should get married before I turn 50.'
The reason Tony An has recently been thinking about marriage, along with who the other member of the 'wedding invitation meeting' is that Kim Jong-min and Tony An both express concern about, can be confirmed in the 155th episode of Channel A's 'Bride Training' airing at 9:30 p.m. on the 19th (Wednesday).
