The family of the late Kim Sae-ron has released a statement.
On the 16th, the family announced their position regarding the two official statements from Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, through the YouTube channel 'Garoseo Research Institute.'
The family claimed, "No one at Gold Medalist has ever said to Sae-ron that they should not be surprised as it is company procedure to send a certified mail due to the embezzlement issue. The family also expressed anger towards YouTuber A, who has produced several videos related to the deceased since 2022.
Addressing A, the family asked, "Who did you learn journalism from that you can broadcast your opinions without accurately verifying the facts and then sensationalize such absurd content in articles?" They added, "Sae-ron has worked tirelessly to continue her life regardless of broadcasting. Did your family earn money and find peace by framing her as a 'fake part-timer'?"
Moreover, regarding the photo with Kim Soo-hyun that the deceased posted on social media during her lifetime, they stated, "It was a reasoned final choice to contact Kim Soo-hyun and Gold Medalist, who sent a certified mail and continuously avoided contact, and all acquaintances knew the reason. But what kind of acquaintances do not understand such a reason?"
Earlier, Kim Sae-ron was found dead at home on the 16th of last month. Following this, the family indicated they had suffered pain from the YouTube video reports regarding her private life posted by A and suggested a strong response against him.
