Bora Nam reported the unfortunate news of being defrauded of a large amount of money on 'Chef's Restaurant', ahead of her wedding in May.
On the 14th, Bora Nam confessed to her fraud experience through KBS2TV's 'New Launch Chef's Restaurant'.
That day, she left a message in the family group chat saying, "Who's coming to our house for a tteokbokki party today?" Then, Bora quickly made tteokbokki, oyster sauce fish cake soup, and 30 rolls of original gimbap. Her large hands, as the eldest of 13 siblings, brought smiles. Bora started cooking, saying, "With 13 siblings, we usually need enough for 10 people, so making 30 to 50 rolls of gimbap was easy," and completed the dishes with her high-level cooking skills.
Soon, her siblings began to arrive one by one. The siblings gathered at Bora's house were: 7th sibling Sebin, 10th sibling Sora, and the youngest, 13th sibling Youngil. Bora shared snacks with her siblings and engaged in lively chatter. The siblings mentioned, "We made 800 rolls of gimbap," to which Bora replied, "I made 800 rolls of gimbap for a volunteer activity." She stated that it took 10 hours to complete, which explained why making 30 rolls was a basic requirement.
Above all, on that day, Bora confessed, "I was recently defrauded for a staggering 1.45 million won." She said, "The incident was regarding the 800 rolls of gimbap I prepared for volunteering," adding, "I bought a gimbap cutter to make it easier, but it was too expensive at the original price, so I searched for used transactions." Bora noted, "I found a decent item and deposited the money, but the seller ghosted me. I realized it was a mistake. I was irritated that the item didn't arrive, but I was even more upset that I had to cut 800 rolls by hand."
When asked about her fiancé's reaction, Bora said, "He asked, 'What do you do? You have to cut the gimbap by hand,'" laughing, and noted, "But the next day, he came and helped cut the gimbap with me. He is exactly the person I need beside me; we are soulmates."
In response, the siblings said, "Thanks to you, we feel reassured because we have a capable brother-in-law." They also expressed their hopes for Bora, the eldest sister of 13 siblings, saying, "Now that you have a partner, we hope you can rely on him as much as you've always looked after us." They added, "As you graduate from our family, we support your new household and wish for you to gather more experiences and memories." Bora replied, "Thank you, siblings. I was more moved by your words. Thank you for growing up so well. I will always be a supportive sister, so come to me when you feel troubled or lonely," showcasing her special bond with her siblings.
