Group BTS member J-Hope will release his second digital single of the year, 'MONA LISA,' on the 21st at 1 p.m. (Korean time).
J-Hope returns to his fans with a new song in about two weeks following the release of the digital single 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)' on the 7th. He quickly announces a new song to provide non-stop joy for fans who have waited a long time.
'MONA LISA' is a hip-hop R&B song that humorously draws parallels to the masterpiece 'Monalisa,' celebrating an attractive counterpart. It offers a different charm from the dreamy and sweet atmosphere of 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel).' J-Hope shows his deepened musical abilities as he participates directly in the song's creation. Through this track, he sings that the true charm of shaking someone's heart lies not in external beauty but in the uniqueness each person possesses.
J-Hope surprised the audience with a live performance of 'MONA LISA' at his solo concert, 'j-hope Tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' in BROOKLYN,' held on the 14th and 15th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, USA. He showcased his chill appeal with sophisticated choreography and relaxed gestures, demonstrating his skills as the 'Director General' of BTS choreography. After the performance, J-Hope noted, 'MONA LISA is a song that expresses my love. Simply put, the ARMY is my masterpiece,' receiving a warm cheer from the audience.
The Brooklyn concert, which marked the start of J-Hope's North American tour, sold out both days, demonstrating the fervent love from fans who had waited for him. The audience showed great enthusiasm and response at every stage, and J-Hope also filled the venue with his strong live performance and impressive presence.
J-Hope will perform a total of 12 concerts in six locations, including Chicago, Mexico City, and Oakland. The performances on April 5th and 7th hold special significance as he is set to become the first Korean solo artist to perform at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.
