Park Hyung-sik, who found the memory of 'Buried Hearts', risked his life for revenge.

On the 15th, according to the viewership ratings research company Nielsen Korea, the 7th episode of the SBS weekend drama 'Buried Hearts' (written by Lee Myung-hee, directed by Jin Chang-kyu), which aired on March 14, recorded a nationwide rating of 10.9% and a capital area rating of 10.4%, securing the top spot in the same time slot and among weekend dramas. The momentary peak rating soared to 11.8%, and the key channel competitiveness indicator, the 2049 rating, also reached 2.5%, proving the dual success of 'Buried Hearts' in viewership and buzz.

In that episode, Seo Dong-joo (played by Park Hyung-sik) witnessed the death of his only sister and, in shock, regained his memory, beginning a serious counterattack against the villain Yeom Jang-seon (played by Heo Jun-ho), who caused his sister's death. The psychological battle between Seo Dong-joo and Yeom Jang-seon exploded during this process, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.

On that day, Yeom Jang-seon appeared shamelessly before Seo Dong-joo, who was guarding the funeral of his sister Agnes (played by Han Ji-hye). Yeom Jang-seon pretended to comfort Seo Dong-joo, but his true aim was to check whether Seo Dong-joo had regained his memory in shock. Pretending not to have remembered in front of Yeom Jang-seon, Seo Dong-joo meticulously began his revenge.

While Yeom Jang-seon was at the funeral home, Seo Dong-joo pretended to be asleep for a moment, slipped out of the funeral home, and abducted Jo Yang-chun (played by Kim Gi-mu), who killed his sister. This news soon reached Yeom Jang-seon's ears. Just then, as if it were a promise, Seo Dong-joo reappeared at the funeral home. The sharp gaze between Seo Dong-joo and Yeom Jang-seon intersected. A meticulous mental battle between the two men had begun.

Seo Dong-joo's counterattack continued. On the surface, he still pretended that he had not fully regained his memory, but he revealed that he remembered the secret safe number of the slush fund and liquor vault of Cha Gang-cheon (played by Woo Hyun), the chairman of Daesan Group. This tightened the reins on Heo Il-do (played by Lee Hae-Young), who hoped Seo Dong-joo would not regain his memory. Simultaneously, Seo Dong-joo pursued Yeom Jang-seon, uncovering the consolidation between Yeom Jang-seon and the elder (played by Choi Kwang-il).

Yeom Jang-seon was furious not only about the 2 trillion won but also about the very existence of Seo Dong-joo trying to manipulate him. He resolved to kill Seo Dong-joo without fail. However, as if to mock him, Seo Dong-joo visited Yeom Jang-seon under the pretext of matters concerning the Daesan Group. He also deliberately placed the ring of the murdered Jo Yang-chun in front of Yeom Jang-seon and left.

Enraged, Yeom Jang-seon grabbed a gun and charged at Seo Dong-joo, saying, "You little thief. There’s 2 trillion won inside your head!" In that moment, Seo Dong-joo snatched the gun from him, aiming it at Yeom Jang-seon’s head, and retorted, "What the hell is this crazy old man blabbering about?" He then aimed the gun at his head, claiming he was still exhausted from not remembering. If Seo Dong-joo truly died, the 2 trillion won would vanish as well. Ultimately, Yeom Jang-seon knelt before Seo Dong-joo and begged, saying, "I was wrong." It was a complete defeat for Yeom Jang-seon in the psychological battle.

This defeat made Yeom Jang-seon even more reckless. He sent a package containing cinnamon to Yeo Eun-nam (played by Hong Hwa-yeon). As Seo Dong-joo had a cinnamon allergy, it implied that if he did not eat the candied cinnamon, he was putting on a memory loss show. Seo Dong-joo, knowing this, still ate the candied cinnamon, risking his life for revenge. In the end, he collapsed. The scene of Seo Dong-joo, who was looking down on him, Heo Il-do, who orchestrated all of this, and Seo Dong-joo in yet another life-threatening situation intersected as the 7th episode of 'Buried Hearts' came to a close. The 'Buried Hearts' breath-holding ending law once again proved effective.

In the 7th episode of 'Buried Hearts', Seo Dong-joo, who regained his memory, began a full-fledged counterattack, significantly increasing the immersion of the drama. In particular, the tension exploded in the scene where Seo Dong-joo and Yeom Jang-seon confronted each other with their guns aimed at one another. The intense rivalry between Seo Dong-joo and Yeom Jang-seon, perfectly portrayed by Park Hyung-sik and Heo Jun-ho, was overwhelming. It was truly the very definition of 'a stunning ensemble', a 60-minute performance party in itself.
