To bid farewell to singer the late Wheesung, singer K.Will rushed back from abroad, and his fiancée, singer Ailee, also hurried to the funeral hall. The funeral hall of the deceased has seen continuous visits from the entertainment industry.

On the 14th, a funeral hall for Wheesung was set up at Samsung Seoul Hospital. It was 4 days after he suddenly passed away on the 10th.

Initially, it was known that Wheesung's funeral would be held privately with only family and close friends attending. However, after much deliberation, the bereaved family decided to open the funeral hall so that many could remember Wheesung as a singer.

In this regard, Wheesung's former agency TAJOYENT stated, 'The bereaved family, after much consideration, wishes to create a time for memorial alongside many who remembered and loved Wheesung.' The white light ray captured in the portrait was also decided upon to allow guests to see the late singer smiling brightly while receiving the light.

As a result, condolences from the music industry continued. K.Will, who was a close friend of the late singer, hurried back from his overseas schedule to pay his respects. Singer KCM, who was set to perform a concert with Wheesung on the 15th, also quickly visited the funeral hall to express his sorrow.

Singer Lee Hyori, as well as Baby V.O.X's Shim Eun-jin, Lee Hee-jin, and singers like Gam-i-yeon, Kim I-ji, g.o.d's Kim Tae-woo, and One Time's Song Baek-kyung, who were active around the same time as Wheesung, also visited the funeral hall. Big Mama's Lee Ji-young, Lee Young-hyun, Kim Bum-soo, Ali, Ailee, and Ha Dong-kyun also shared in the late singer's farewell.

Mamamoo's Moonbyul and Solar, singer and actress IU, and the girl group ICHILLIN, under TAJOYENT, also attended as mourners. Comedians Yoo Se-yoon and Cho Sae-ho, who had connections with the deceased during his lifetime through broadcasting, also made sure to attend.

Meanwhile, the idol groups BTS and TWICE filled the funeral hall with wreaths of condolence. Additionally, Yoo Hyun-do of Deux, Joo Seok, Jung Jun-il, and Naul of Brown Eyed Soul also joined in mourning and sending wreaths for Wheesung's farewell.

Wheesung was found in a state of cardiac arrest on the 10th in an apartment in Gwangjin District, Seoul. Emergency responders arrived and attempted CPR, but he was declared dead. Following this, an autopsy was conducted at the National Forensic Service at the request of the police. The National Forensic Service has given a preliminary oral view stating 'cause of death unknown.'

The burial ceremony will be held on the 16th. Prior to that, a farewell ceremony is scheduled to take place at 6 a.m. on the same day. The resting place is Gwangneung Memorial Park.
