KBS2 'Boss's ears are donkey ears' Park Myung-soo, the first comedian from the MBC public recruitment, will serve as a judge in the KBS public recruitment comedian selection exam.
KBS 2TV 'Boss's ears are donkey ears' (directed by Ahn Sang-eun, hereafter 'Sadangui') is a program for the self-reflection and perspective-taking of bosses in South Korea to create a workplace that is enjoyable to work in. The last episode, episode 296, achieved a peak rating of 8.1% and a 2049 rating of 1.6%, maintaining the No. 1 spot in all channels for 145 consecutive weeks during the same time slot (according to Nielsen Korea).
In the upcoming episode of 'Sadangui' airing on the 16th (Sunday), Park Myung-soo, an alumnus of MBC public recruitment's 4th class, will participate as a special judge in the KBS public recruitment comedian selection examination, which is being held for the first time in seven years. Park Myung-soo noted, "I will carefully select the candidates with a hawk's eye," expressing his determination. He particularly expresses confidence as he looks at Kim Sook, who glares at him with concern, saying, "I will choose a friend with the temperament of a comedian. I am good at this."
In this context, Park Myung-soo seeks advice on the public recruitment judging from Park Jun-hyung, who led the revival of public comedy as a 13th class public recruitment member. Park Jun-hyung stated, "Myung-soo is from MBC, so he doesn't know much about KBS comedy," revealing his pride in KBS's authentic style.
In particular, Park Jun-hyung has been credited with great planning ability for the success of various segments, including 'Gal-gal-i Three Brothers,' 'Raincoat Three Siblings,' 'Life Dialect,' 'Alley Leader Ma-bak-i,' and 'Family of Love.' He piqued interest by stating, "I earned 300 million won a month during my peak." He reminisced about the popularity that allowed him to travel across the country, recalling, "Back then Pabak-i, I went out on May 1 and came back home on May 8."
Meanwhile, while unearthing talent, Park Myung-soo creates a stir in the public recruitment exam hall with his unique judging standards. Park Myung-soo's outbursts of laughter prompt complaints from fellow comedian juniors asking, "What's funny about that? Why is that funny?" While Park Myung-soo cannot stop laughing, questions about his qualifications as a judge arise from his junior comedians. Observing this, Jeon Hyun-moo quipped, "Your style is completely different from KBS," eliciting laughter.
It remains to be seen how Park Myung-soo will change the balance of the KBS public recruitment comedian selection exam, and attention is drawn to the results of the KBS 34th class public recruitment selection exam that will be aired in the 'Sadangui' broadcast.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV 'Boss's ears are donkey ears' airs every Sunday at 4:40 p.m.
