Singer Song Ga-in provided a touching experience that transcends nationality with traditional trot.

The release of Song Ga-in’s 4th regular album, 'Gain; Moon', on Feb. 11 last month, is receiving a warm response in South Korea, and videos of foreigners reacting to the title track 'Asadal' have garnered attention. 'Asadal' features Song Ga-in’s unique traditional Korean singing method, which guides the entire song, filled with lyrical lyrics and a poignant melody that embodies traditional emotions.

In a released video, one foreigner admired, “I think it would give me strength when I feel sad or want to overcome it.” They continued, “I can’t understand the lyrics, but it gives me a deep and sad feeling like when experiencing a breakup,” marveling at how Song Ga-in's music transcends language barriers.

Additionally, a foreign mother and daughter in another reaction video asked, “Is this song a kind of classic?” validating the reputation of Korea’s representative music genre, trot, and the national treasure singer, Song Ga-in.

Loved by listeners both domestically and internationally, Song Ga-in’s 4th regular album 'Gain; Moon' captures the essence of traditional trot, with all tracks entering the charts on the day of release. Initial sales surpassed 20,000 copies, breaking the record for the most by a female trot singer, and is writing a new history in the trot genre.

After the release of her 4th regular album, Song Ga-in continues to be active through various entertainment shows, radio, and her own content 'Paldo Gain'. In particular, she is determined to communicate more actively with fans through this activity, as she will hold the '2025 Song Ga-in Fan Meeting “Lifelong” - The Chaoreuda' on April 19 at 6 p.m. at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
