The musical show 'Immortal Songs' draws attention as Baby V.O.X recalls the time they became the first idol group to travel to North Korea by land.

The 697th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs,' airing on the 15th at 6:05 p.m., is titled 'Artist Baby V.O.X.'

On this day, Baby V.O.X reflects on their past as a first generation of the Korean Wave, gaining immense popularity in countries such as Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand during their active years. Baby V.O.X stated, "At that time, we filmed the music video in Guilin, China, and we were also appointed as Guilin's promotional ambassadors," surprising everyone. In particular, Han Mi-yeon noted, "They say we are the first group to go to North Korea by land," capturing attention. Han Mi-yeon reminisced about the vivid memories of their performance, saying, "There were no expressions or gestures from the audience during the performance. Everyone just stared at us, making it feel like an audition," bringing smiles to the faces of attendees.

Meanwhile, Baby V.O.X is said to enter 'noona fan' mode for their juniors' stage, sparking interest. Yoon Eun-hye praised the participants who took the stage, saying, "This is the sexy hotspot." In particular, the focus of Baby V.O.X's attention was none other than Jeong Seung-won. Kim Ji-ji joked, "The moment Jeong Seung-won appeared, all five of us were flustered and couldn't calm down," making the scene burst into laughter. Notably, Lee Hee-jin shyly confessed to Jeong Seung-won, "I don't know why my heart is racing like this. After seeing the stage, I became a total fan," catching everyone's attention.

Additionally, Baby V.O.X is garnering interest by expressing gratitude for successfully reuniting after 14 years through the 'Kayo Daechukje.' Baby V.O.X remarked, "Our full group activity is all thanks to KBS. We are truly grateful to KBS," adding, "What would have happened if we hadn't stood on 'Kayo Daechukje?" resulting in a heartwarming atmosphere on site.

The featured artist, Baby V.O.X, debuted in 1997 and released numerous hit songs until the mid-2000s, receiving immense love as a first-generation girl group. Last December, Baby V.O.X took the stage at the 'KBS Kayo Daechukje Global Festival' as a complete group for the first time in 14 years, confirming their appearance as artists on 'Immortal Songs.' In this, Stephanie, Yuk Joong-wan Band, EXID, ONEWE, and Jeong Seung-won breathe new life into Baby V.O.X's classic hits in their own unique styles. Notably, EXID is reigniting expectations by resuming full group activities for the first time in 6 years on this week's 'Immortal Songs.'
