Actor Lee Byung-hun hinted at a new project with director Park Chan-wook during "Pinggaeko."
On the morning of the 15th, Lee Byung-hun appeared as a guest on the web entertainment show "Pinggaeko" broadcast on the YouTube channel "Teungteung."
Earlier, Lee Byung-hun often showcased unforgettable dances in his works, drawing attention. Lee said, "I recently filmed director Park Chan-wook's 'It's Unavoidable,' and to give a spoiler, there will be dancing. But it's a dance you would not expect. Personally, it was my favorite dance," which raised expectations.
"Since I haven't learned to dance, it shows," he joked, to which Yoo Jae-suk responded, "If you look closely, Byung-hun seems to have a soft heart." Lee then added, "That's why there are so many memes. It was only last year that I first showed my son my movies. There was a film festival where I held a special exhibition, showing one film each day for a week. I showed him 'Gwanghae' for the first time. Before that, he probably thought I was just a YouTube meme star," he joked.
He continued, "After watching 'Gwanghae,' my son cried so much that his eyes were swollen. I was moved by that. I thought it was amazing how much he got immersed in my movie for the first time. When I asked him when he cried the most between the two stories of Gwanghae and Haseon, he said he cried a lot when Director General Do (Kim In-kwon) died. It had nothing to do with me. I wondered what scene made him cry, and he said, 'Hmm, let's go eat. '" which added to the laughter.
