In the musical talk show 'The Seasons: Park Bo-gum's Cantabile,' former MC Lee Young-ji, following Park Bo-gum, completed the 'Supernova' dance challenge together with Kim Yoo-jung, Jinyoung, and Kwak Dong-yeon.
On the 14th, KBS 2TV's new music talk show 'The Seasons: Park Bo-gum's Cantabile' premiered.
That day, former MC Lee Young-ji, who came to support Park Bo-gum's first recording, surprised everyone. In the audience, she showed her sense by writing a supportive message on a sketchbook that said, 'May Cantabile thrive.' Lee Young-ji shouted, 'Park Bo-gum, fighting!' and Park Bo-gum exclaimed, 'I'm really touched; I will work harder.'
Kim Yoo-jung, Jinyoung, and Kwak Dong-yeon, who have maintained their friendship with Park Bo-gum for nine years since the KBS drama 'Love in the Moonlight,' appeared, stating, 'What we want is for everyone to be happy,' and added, 'There’s a task left by the former MC.'
Earlier, the previous season's MC, Lee Young-ji, advised, 'The MC of The Seasons must dance to aespa's 'Supernova.' I hope you practice.'
In the mood, Park Bo-gum said, 'Then I will call you here,' summoning Lee Young-ji, who responded, 'I just quit last week, so I’m surprised to be back immediately,' and went on stage to teach Park Bo-gum the dance challenge for aespa's 'Supernova.' Park Bo-gum also succeeded in the dance challenge with Lee Young-ji. However, it didn’t end there; Lee Young-ji suggested, 'Let's all dance together once,' and the audience shouted, 'Join us.' This led to Lee Young-ji and the four completing the Supernova dance challenge.
After the stage, Park Bo-gum expressed his gratitude, saying, 'Thank you to Young-ji for coming up spontaneously; Lee Young-ji is the best,' and added, 'Thank you for helping with such an unexpected request.' He continued, in response to the support of, 'Do what you want in the future,' Park Bo-gum said, 'Since we did Supernova, does that mean I am now qualified to be an MC? Please take care of me,' showing his pride.
Meanwhile, 'The Seasons' is the first late-night music program on KBS to adopt a season format, starting with 'Jay Park’s Drive' in February of the year before last, followed by 'Choi Jeong-hoon’s Night Park,' 'AKMU's Onalowon Night,' 'Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet,' 'Zico’s Artist,’ and 'Lee Young-ji’s Rainbow.' Each MC has served as a bridge between musicians and viewers with different genres and styles.
'The Seasons,' which has drawn attention with its unpredictable yet fresh selection of MCs every season, revealed that the star of its seventh season is actor Park Bo-gum, the first of its kind in history.
