'The Seasons: Park Bo-gum's Cantabile' has begun.
On 14th, KBS 2TV's new music talk show 'The Seasons: Park Bo-gum's Cantabile' featured singers Noh Young-shim, Sunwoo Jung-a, Jung Jun-il, Seventeen's Hoshi and Woozi, and actors Kim Yoo-jung, Chin Young, and Kwak Dong-yeon, showcasing a variety of colorful performances that could not be seen anywhere else.
On this day, Park Bo-gum presented a special opening stage by singing Melomance's 'Let's Take a Break for a Moment.' He then introduced himself as 'MC Park Bo-gum, who will be responsible for the 'Gyeomday' night,' adding, 'It's been 10 years since 'Music Bank,' and I'm excited to greet you as an MC again.'
As the first guest on 'The Seasons: Park Bo-gum's Cantabile,' Noh Young-shim shined. Noh Young-shim, who hosted 'Noh Young-shim's Little Concert,' which marked the beginning of KBS music talk show history 33 years ago, warmly advised Park Bo-gum, who asked about her MC know-how, saying, 'You seem to be doing very well even now. If you can continue this freshness, that would be the best.' During the conversation with Noh Young-shim, Park Bo-gum noted, 'I feel a sense of calm,' gradually showcasing his stable hosting skills.
The two, standing together as past and current MCs, completed a meaningful time by performing a piano rendition of 'The Way to School.' Additionally, Park Bo-gum mentioned that Noh Young-shim served as the music director for the drama 'Love Age,' where he sang the OST 'No Matter How Much I Think, It's You.' He also referred to IU, with whom he recently collaborated on 'When Life Gives You Tangerines,' recommending Noh Young-shim's 'Photo Album,' leading to a special duet stage with her. Later, Noh Young-shim's close friend Sunwoo Jung-a made a surprise appearance, performing the OST 'Imagination' from 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' with her.
That day, Kim Yoo-jung, Chin Young, and Kwak Dong-yeon gathered to support Park Bo-gum's first recording. Park Bo-gum, who mentioned that he has maintained a friendship with them for 9 years since working together in KBS 2TV's 'Love in the Moonlight,' expressed gratitude, saying, 'They agreed to join without knowing what was going on.' During the talk, Kim Yoo-jung, Chin Young, and Kwak Dong-yeon surprised Park Bo-gum with an unexpected stage as they sang D.O's 'Popcorn.' Kwak Dong-yeon shared the behind-the-scenes story, saying, 'We prepared this stage without showing it even during rehearsals, hidden in a small room,' bringing laughter to the scene.
On that day, former 'The Seasons' MC Lee Young-ji also spontaneously took to the stage. Park Bo-gum mentioned that Lee Young-ji had said, 'The MC of 'The Seasons' must dance to aespa's 'Supernova'' and learned the challenge on the spot, showcasing perfect synergy with her. After finishing the challenge, Park Bo-gum asked, 'Do I qualify to be an MC?' to which Lee Young-ji and the audience responded with enthusiastic cheers and applause for him.
Jung Jun-il emotionally captivated the audience with his representative song 'Hug' before greeting Park Bo-gum. He encouraged Park Bo-gum, saying, 'I wished that someone who sincerely loves music would be the MC, and I think musicians like me will want to come here and sing,' and added, 'To celebrate the first broadcast, I prepared a cover of a great singer.' He performed 'My Person,' the OST of 'Love in the Moonlight,' which Park Bo-gum had sung. Park Bo-gum, who shared the stage with him, expressed his gratitude, saying, 'It was my first OST. You were the first to cover it.' Finally, Jung Jun-il passionately sang 'Could This Be Love' to present a memorable performance.
Seventeen's Hoshi and Woozi presented their new song 'Same Age' for the first time on 'The Seasons: Park Bo-gum's Cantabile,' showcasing their energetic charm. Park Bo-gum praised, 'You both are so cool,' to which Hoshi and Woozi responded, 'We couldn't sleep after watching 'When Life Gives You Tangerines,' continuing to exchange endless compliments and evoking laughter. In particular, Woozi reminisced about the first time he met Park Bo-gum as the MC of 'Music Bank' 10 years ago, stating, 'It was amazing that you even listened to our album tracks back then. I still feel grateful.'
As the first broadcast coincided with White Day, Park Bo-gum played Seventeen's 'Candy' on the piano and teamed up with Hoshi and Woozi to create a special stage. Additionally, Hoshi showcased an impromptu live performance of Bang Yedam's 'Why' with a pure and warm voice, enchanting the venue. Hoshi and Woozi then excited the audience with their performance of 'STUPID IDIOT,' culminating the climax of 'The Seasons: Park Bo-gum's Cantabile.'
Finally, Park Bo-gum sang IU's 'Meeting You on Friday' and bid farewell to the audience. He approached the audience, personally handing out candy and offering them an unforgettable special 'Gyeomday.'
