YouTuber Lee Jin-ho, who reported on the late Kim Sae-ron's status while alive, has stated his position.
On the 13th, Lee Jin-ho posted a video titled "Did Kim Soo-hyun get the fortune-telling? I'm going all the way with Kim Se-eui" on his YouTube channel 'Entertainment Vice President Lee Jin-ho'.
Lee Jin-ho said, "Recently, false news surrounding me has been spreading, so I stood in front of the camera with a heavy heart to correct the facts."
First, he clarified, "The claim that I received a fortune-telling from Kim Soo-hyun and dealt with videos related to Kim Sae-ron is incredibly malicious and one-sided. Moreover, it is completely unfounded. I have never contacted Kim Soo-hyun or any representatives from the agency. The manager I contacted when dealing with videos related to Kim Sae-ron was not a manager from Gold Medalist."
He continued, "I have never mentioned that it was 'manipulated' when Kim Sae-ron posted a photo of Kim Soo-hyun on social media, and regarding their past relationship, there was no way for anyone other than the parties involved to know. I became aware of that fact through Kim Sae-ron's manager."
He stated, "From the perspective of the manager who helped Kim Sae-ron return to the entertainment industry, these various rumors could not have been helpful at all. Therefore, I remember that the manager made a lot of effort to let this situation pass. Given that nearly 100 articles were created due to the photo posted by Kim Sae-ron, that was the best the manager could do. I have all the evidence regarding this matter."
Additionally, he said, "The only time I called Kim Sae-ron was on January 8, and even that call could not be completed as the number was deleted." He explained, "I contacted the bereaved family the day after Kim Sae-ron's funeral on the 20th. The content was to convey, 'I want to apologize morally.'"
He emphasized, "Once again, I want to say that I only wanted to bow my head to the bereaved family members who are feeling devastated. If they are angry with me, I want to hear it, and since I couldn't attend the mourning, I wanted to express my condolences."
Moreover, Lee Jin-ho stated, "In the past three years, I have covered four videos about Kim Sae-ron. Upon hearing of the death, I made the related videos private. Yet, comments are being posted saying, 'If you're innocent, release the videos.' I cannot decide whether to release the videos again and subject the family to further distress or to let the public judge. It is true that I am deepening my concerns about this issue."
In particular, he announced legal action against Kim Se-eui from 'Gaseyeon', saying, "It will take time for the results to come out, but I will clearly disclose the facts through the investigative agency. I will receive all investigations sincerely and reveal the results to the public. If there are any inaccuracies in what I have dealt with, I will take full responsibility. I will not evade any responsibility."
Meanwhile, Kim Sae-ron was found dead at her home on the 16th of last month. Subsequently, her family suggested legal action against Lee Jin-ho regarding YouTube video reports that contained details about the late celebrity's private life, indicating that they suffered from it.
