Singer Lee Seok-hoon, who appeared with him, remarked, "Celebrities also face a lot of lease fraud. I understand the same happened with Dex."
A student studying real estate, in an interview with them, said, "I live alone renting a place," and "I heard there's a lot of lease fraud, so I'm scared of leasing." They continued, "A professor's acquaintance rented a place around the school and completed the contract, but was defrauded. Despite the assistance from a real estate professor, they ultimately lost their deposit."
Kangnam expressed anger, saying, "If we catch the fraudsters and send them to prison for 200 years, they probably won't do it again. I think it would be good to enforce stricter laws." Lee Seok-hoon added, "It seems to be a problem that even if we catch the suspect for lease fraud, there are many situations where we can't recover the money." Recently, celebrities and other public figures have also been victims of lease fraud.

The number of lease fraud victims recognized by the government has exceeded 28,000. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Lease Fraud Victim Support Committee announced on the 13th that it has finalized 2,509 cases as lease fraud victim incidents. Consequently, the total number of confirmed lease fraud victims reviewed by the committee has reached 28,087.
