'Garo-se-ro Research Institute' alleged that the family of the late Kim Sae-ron was the reason for delaying the release of additional photos related to the romance between actor Kim Soo-hyun and the late Kim Sae-ron.

They claimed that the family of Kim Sae-ron asserted that Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, pressured them by sending a notice of damages amounting to 700 million won and that Kim Soo-hyun had ignored it.
However, Gold Medalist issued an urgent statement on the morning of the same day, denying the related allegations, stating that Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron were lovers from the summer of 2019, when Kim Sae-ron was an adult, until the fall of 2020. They also rebutted that the notice was left as a legal procedure during the agency's handling of the penalty due to Kim Sae-ron's drunk driving incident and that they never pressured for repayment. Additionally, a person, said to be an aunt of Kim Sae-ron, who spoke with 'Garo-se-ro,' was refuted as merely a friend of Kim Sae-ron's mother.
