The group Seventeen's new special unit Hoshi and Woogie heated up the music broadcast with their "true friend vibe."
Hoshi and Woogie granted on Mnet's "M Countdown" aired on the 13th, showcasing the title track "Same Age" and the included track "STUPID IDIOT" for the first time.
"It will feel like a 'true friend vibe,'" as Woogie said in an interview, the two showcased their distinctive presence with perfect harmony. Their performance, featuring poise and swagger, highlighted Hoshi and Woogie’s true colors as they delivered flawless live vocals.
The contrasting atmospheres of the two songs demonstrated the limitless spectrum of Hoshi and Woogie. While the stage of "STUPID IDIOT" joyfully expressed a crazy party vibe, the self-loving lyrics and seasoned performance in "Same Age" drew attention to the duo's enhanced charisma. Commands like "Everybody jump!" added to the enjoyment, as they could only be heard live on stage.
Hoshi and Woogie’s single debut "BEAM" represents the light radiating from the two. The new album soared to the top of the Hanteo Chart's album chart on the day of its release and continued its popularity, climbing to the 2nd place in the latest 'Daily Single Ranking' announced by Oricon in Japan (dated March 12). The title track also entered the ranking of the 'Worldwide iTunes Song' chart, remaining in the top spots for four consecutive days right after its release.
Hoshi and Woogie will grant on KBS2’s "Music Bank" and KBS2’s "The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile" consecutively today (14th), presenting the stage of their new song and igniting the "BEAM" craze.
