The band Dragon Pony conveys the fervent energy of youth.
Dragon Pony (An Tae-kyu, Pyeon Seong-hyeon, Gwon Se-hyeok, Go Gang-hoon) released a highlight medley of their second EP "Not Out" through their official YouTube channel on the 13th.
In the video, Dragon Pony begins to play confidently after completing their preparations for the festival rehearsal. The four members boast a glamorous performance worthy of a festival headliner. In particular, a portion of the highlight track from the new EP "Not Out" captivates both the eyes and ears, further heightening expectations for the main album.
The EP contains a total of 5 tracks, including the title track "Not Out." The title track, which shares its name with the EP, is a term derived from baseball, meaning the moment when a batter is not out under certain conditions despite being in a strikeout situation, allowing them to gain additional opportunities to run as a base runner. This song portrays the image of youth challenging toward their dreams through lyrical lyrics and passionate performances, providing a sense of intense musical energy.
The sub-title track "NEVER" expresses the emotions of the moment of deciding to part ways through escalating rock sounds. In addition, a total of 5 tracks are included, such as "Waste," which conveys vibrant energy through various FX sounds, and "Ita-sim (To. Nosy Boy)," which evokes a vintage sound reminiscent of blues, and "On Air," which sings about the excitement of stepping on stage.
"Not Out" is the album that Dragon Pony presents approximately six months after their debut EP "POP UP." All members serve as main producers for this album as well, participating directly in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of all tracks, solidifying their position as a skilled band. Through this EP, Dragon Pony plans to reassess the value of imperfection and convey the energy that shines within it.
Dragon Pony's second EP "Not Out" will be released on the 19th at 6 p.m. through various music streaming sites.
