Kim Cheong, whose marriage ended three days after it began in 'Park Won-suk's Let's Live Together Season 3,' expressed her regret about family.
In an episode aired on Nov. 13 on KBS 2TV's entertainment program 'Park Won-suk's Let's Live Together Season 3,' Kim Cheong opened up about her thoughts on marriage.
That day, after hearing the story of Yoon Da-hoon, who became a family man after meeting his current wife as a single dad, Kim Cheong said, "Regardless of the age difference, I used to treat Da-hoon as a really young brother, but now I feel that he seems more like an adult than I am. It seems reassuring to have a family and children."
In particular, Kim Cheong confessed that when she appeared on 'Park Won-suk's Let's Live Together,' she told Park Won-suk, "I was married for just three days. I only dipped my toes into marriage," revealing her super-fast divorce. At that time, Kim Cheong married a businessman in 1998 but experienced a divorce after just three days, spending time in seclusion at a hermitage in the mountains.
In response, Kim Cheong said, "It really hurt. I wanted to be a parent too, but the situation didn't allow it," adding, "So actually, when I talk about having children, I also think, 'I wish I had children,' so for me, it's a painful story."
Gathering her courage, Kim Cheong asked Yoon Da-hoon, "I heard that parents often stay up all night when the kids don't sleep. I was curious about that." Yoon Da-hoon replied, "That's right. When the baby cries at night, even if I try to hold them, my wife won't let me because she's worried I might drop them. No matter how well fathers take care of their kids, they can't do it as well as mothers."
Park Won-suk asked, "Does your mother take care of all the child-rearing, like cleaning or doing the dishes?" Yoon Da-hoon revealed, "I do all the washing and cleaning."
Meanwhile, Kim Cheong and Yoon Da-hoon cleared up misunderstandings that had built up over their 30 years of acquaintance. The two recalled the time they worked together in 'Young Lady and Gangsters,' mentioning issues related to unpaid appearance fees. Kim Cheong said, "We grew close while working together. Practicing and bumping into each other, we never received our appearance fees together," and added, "Did you get paid? I never received any money in the end."
When Yoon Da-hoon said, "We asked for the juniors to be prioritized," Kim Cheong replied, "They brought me 5 million won, and I told them to give it to the kids first. But Da-hoon misunderstood, thinking I received the money while the kids didn't. It made me really upset."
Yoon Da-hoon remarked, "Someone might have miscommunicated in the middle," and Kim Cheong said, "I didn't receive money, and it feels really unfair and angering." Hearing this, Park Won-suk empathized, saying, "If we talk about that, it's going to be complicated again."
After the misunderstanding about unpaid appearance fees was clarified, Yoon Da-hoon remarked, "I just heard about this story that's nearly 30 years old," and Kim Cheong expressed, "That was a pent-up feeling. It really hurt my heart." In response, Yoon Da-hoon joked, "Give me your account number. I'll send you 5 million won."
In a subsequent interview, Kim Cheong stated, "For a long time, I wanted to share that it was a misunderstanding about Da-hoon, and I was finally able to do it this time. I thought Da-hoon would at least be willing to hear my side," adding, "The lingering feelings I had towards Da-hoon have disappeared, and we've grown closer."
