The 25th season of 'I am SOLO' revealed the identity of the 'super unexpected twist.'

On the broadcast on 12th (Wednesday) of the real dating program 'I am SOLO' by ENA and SBS Plus, the three MCs Defconn, Lee Yi-kyung, and Song Hae-na expressed their surprise during the 25th season's unprecedented 'self-introduction time.'

On the first night of entering 'Solonara 25,' the solo men and women moved indoors after an outdoor barbecue to continue their conversations. At this time, Young-sik secured the seat next to Mi-gyeong and even requested a '1:1 conversation.' Mi-gyeong noted, 'I think your courage is cool,' deepening her feelings for Young-sik. Young-cheol also quietly called for Young-ja. He appealed to Young-ja, who was disappointed after he chose Soon-ja in the first impression selection, saying, 'You are my first conversation partner. If we have a chance, let's go on a date.'

At the same time, Young-ho had a '1:1 conversation' with Ok-soon. Ok-soon made a statement that seemed to hint at Young-ho, saying, 'I feel a lot of attraction to nerdy men,' creating a pink atmosphere. After finishing his conversation with Soon-ja, Young-cheol talked next with Hyun-sook and finally shared a '1:1 conversation' with Mi-gyeong. Observing Young-cheol talking with the three women who had chosen him during the 'first impression selection,' Hyun-sook showed a cool demeanor during her interview with the production team, saying, 'If it's meant to be, it will happen.' Young-ja also expressed a relaxed attitude, saying, 'I’m not too worried just because there are many competitors.'

Busy taking care of everyone, Young-soo spilled alcohol on Mi-gyeong's padding while cleaning the common living room. Seeing this, Young-sik carefully dried Mi-gyeong's wet padding with a hairdryer while she was away for an interview with the production team. After waiting a while for Mi-gyeong to return, he handed her the dried padding and escorted her back to the accommodation. The next morning, Young-soo eagerly got up and prepared crab soup, hoping that 'Young-ja would definitely have some.' However, Young-ja only appeared after everyone had finished their meal. Nevertheless, Young-soo hurriedly set the table for Young-ja's crab soup, and Young-ja expressed her gratitude, saying, 'Thank you, Dad~.'

Finally, the much-anticipated 'self-introduction time' took place. First, Young-soo introduced himself, saying, 'I was born in 1991, an opera singer and the Deputy Minister at an insurance company. I had a serious motorcycle accident and studied insurance to make it my profession.' He continued, 'My goal for next year is to earn 100 million won, and I think it’s possible,' before singing 'Il Mondo,' the OST of the movie 'About Time,' on the spot, receiving applause. Young-ho, born in 1988, is a pharmacist who revealed his 'unexpected hobby' of DJing. He emphasized, 'I have a house and operate a pharmacy. Since I'm somewhat ready for marriage, I want to find someone to happily live with in the future.'

Young-sik, born in 1990, was a 'model office worker' who obtained eight work-related qualifications in 2024 alone as a loan officer at a bank. He graduated from college 10 years later while traveling the world and stated, 'Even if it’s slow, I pursue a fulfilling life.' Similarly, Young-cheol, also born in 1990, was a leader in an elite sports department cultivating the next Son Heung-min or Lee Kang-in at a middle school in Seoul. Revealing his unexpected hobby of playing the piano, Young-cheol expressed his ambition, saying, 'I dream of becoming the coach of the Korean national football team and leaving achievements that surpass the World Cup semifinals legacy.'

Kwang-soo, born in 1986, hesitated before revealing that he is a doctor, saying, 'I don’t take pride in it.' The only doctor in Inje County, Gangwon Province, Kwang-soo shared, 'Last year alone, I saw 26,000 patients. I can’t afford to move (locations) without me.' It was also revealed that his annual salary was an astonishing 500 million won, which surprised everyone, as he shyly admitted, 'I have about three people I’m interested in in Solonara.' Finally, Sang-cheol, born in 1990, an employee of a semiconductor sales strategy team, shared, 'I only go between work, home, the gym, and study halls. I don’t have even one opposite-sex friend. I wish to build a stable life with someone I love and establish a family.'

Following the solo men, the solo women also revealed their identities. Young-sook, born in 1993, was an employee in marketing at Group L, introducing herself as 'energetic, cheerful, and cute.' Soon-ja, an employee at C Life Care born in 1991, stated that knitting is her hobby and then gifted everyone hand-made coasters and scrunchies. Soon-ja, who has many 'male friends' from her engineering background, expressed a serious desire to fulfill her 90-year-old grandmother's wish of 'marriage.' Young-ja, born in 1994, was an illustrator who has collaborated with large companies. From Jin-ju, she came to 'Solonara' feeling limited when meeting potential partners, saying, 'I prefer someone who is fun, kind, and good at expressing themselves.'

Ok-soon, born in 1989, was an 'elite' flutist who attended the number one music college in the U.S. and graduate school at S University. Referring to herself as a '100% effort-based person,' Ok-soon stated, 'Meeting connections seems to be beyond my ability. Just like always, I will try my best here as well.' Hyun-sook, born in 1993, a grade 6 technical civil servant at Seoul City Hall, showed her 'passionate girl' side by hiking Hallasan in a day, sharing, 'There have been times when I didn’t see (my boyfriend) for up to two weeks due to circumstances. As long as there's enough contact to confirm survival, it's fine,' giving off a 'cool' vibe. Lastly, Mi-gyeong, born in 1988, revealed her 'unexpected age' and introduced herself as an overseas exhibition designer and project manager, stating, 'Until yesterday, I had two people I liked, but after hearing the self-introductions, it changed to three.'

After the 'self-introduction time,' the solo men and women gathered in their accommodations to share their feelings. While Soon-ja and Ok-soon said, 'Nothing has changed significantly after the self-introductions,' Ok-soon and Mi-gyeong expressed curiosity about 'who the three people that Kwang-soo mentioned are.' Young-cheol told the other solo men, 'I had an interest in 2-3 people, but after the self-introductions, it decreased to one.' Young-soo, in an interview with the production team, shared, '(When Young-ja was introducing herself) I thought, 'Is she doing this to make me listen? This person likes me,' which was quite presumptuous. Right after, a preview for the 25th season's first date selection heightened curiosity for the next broadcast.

The romance of the 25th season can be seen on 'I am SOLO,' airing at 10:30 p.m. on the 19th (Wednesday) on ENA and SBS Plus.
