Former group Sugar member Ayumi revealed the charming visuals of her husband and their 9-month-old daughter.
On the broadcast of TV Chosun's 'Perfect Life' on Dec. 12, Ayumi grants and shared her daily life with her daughter for the first time.
Ayumi welcomed her daughter in June of last year after marrying a businessman two years her senior in 2022.
"She was born in June of last year, so she's now 9 months old," said Ayumi, who noted, "I gave birth to my first child at 39. It's a high-risk pregnancy. I am experiencing pain here and there," adding, "After giving birth, I gained weight, and my cholesterol levels have increased, and I even developed plantar fasciitis."
Worried that she could not return to her previous body after giving birth, she said, "I gained 20 kg during my pregnancy, and although I lost 10 kg after giving birth, I can't shed the remaining 10 kg no matter what. I want to be slim like before, but if I diet too much, I'll lose stamina and won't be able to take care of my child, so I hope to build a toned and healthy body."
On this day, Ayumi, who first revealed her home after moving in January, spent time reading a book to her daughter, and her daughter, Seaah, caught attention by showing curiosity towards the book and diligently reading with her mother.
In response to the MC's remark that her daughter seems to understand things, Ayumi said, "She is my daughter, but I think she is smart. I wonder if I gave birth to a genius," and she boasted, "When I say touch it, she touches it, and when I say 'Ah~', she responds with 'Ah~'."
She said she makes baby food herself, explaining, "I prepare it and portion it out and freeze it. To identify allergies, I make something new every three days."
Ayumi spent her busy day doing household chores and washing dishes after quickly finishing her meal while her baby took a nap.
In the evening, her husband returned from work, and the charming visuals of her husband impressed everyone as he shared cooking and childcare duties with Ayumi, who had been struggling with parenting. On this day, her husband showcased his cooking skills by making tofu sushi rolls and okonomiyaki.
While cooking, her husband subtly suggested to Ayumi, "Don't you want to have another child? I would like to have another son." In response, Ayumi said, "The swelling has not gone down yet," adding, "Let's talk about it again after I exercise and get healthy in a little while."
However, in response to the MCs' questions, Ayumi revealed, "Thinking about Seaah being so pretty makes me consider having a second child," attracting attention.
When asked how she met her husband, she said, "We met through a mutual acquaintance, and it felt very comfortable as if we were old friends. Our conversations were fun, and we had similar tastes. We kept seeing each other day after day for a month. We decided to marry after 8 months," expressing her affection by saying, "He gives me a sense of security and has an older brother-like side, and we get along well with each other."
Her husband provided strong encouragement regarding concerns about a career interruption after childbirth, saying, "It's just a break because of childbirth; I hope you don't think it's over. Don't worry. I will help you."
