Comedian Park Soo-hong and Click-B's Oh Jong-hyuk conveyed their deep love for their daughters on 'The Return of Superman.'
In the KBS2TV entertainment program 'The Return of Superman' (hereafter 'Superman Returns'), aired on the 12th, Oh Jong-hyuk's first reveal of his daughter and Park Soo-hong's first family photo shoot were featured.
Oh Jong-hyuk and his wife, who married in 2021, welcomed their daughter, Roji, just six months after their wedding. His wife, Park Hye-soo, noted, "He is really a caring dad to Roji. If he were my dad, that would be wonderful; he is really kind and does well with her," adding, "However, his stamina suddenly drops when it comes to parenting. He just sits at the table and tells the child to come here and there."
Park Hye-soo shared, "I did all the parenting for Roji alone until she turned two. There was a time when Roji really disliked her dad. She even rejected kisses," revealing a behind-the-scenes story. Oh Jong-hyuk explained, "Roji was born during the COVID-19 pandemic. All performances and income were cut off. While trying to earn money, I ended up with only five days off a year. The time I could spend with my child was physically limited."
In response, Kim Jun-ho said, "I understand that. When my first child, Eun-woo, was born, I was in training and couldn't see Eun-woo often. It seems like he didn't recognize me as his dad." He expressed empathy. However, even after spending the whole day together, Oh Jong-hyuk and his daughter hadn't become very close yet. Oh Jong-hyuk said, "It seems like today was full of disappointments. Even when I called her 'Dad!' she pretended not to know. It made me realize that Roji has grown up a lot. She has grown so much that she might not look for me anymore. I thought I need to hold her tighter."
Park Soo-hong took a family photo with his 4-month-old daughter, Jae-i, and his wife, Kim Da-ye. Park Soo-hong said, "Choi Eun-kyung has experience taking family photos as the child grows, so she helped out as an assistant that day."
Choi Eun-kyung shared tips, saying, "Babies look cute no matter what. As long as the mom and dad look good, it's fine." Jae-i smiled brightly. Kim Jun-ho exclaimed, "How is she not even crying? Usually, babies get startled by the flash and cry!" and Choi Ji-woo said, "How can a 4-month-old daughter be more mature than a dad with 34 years in the entertainment industry?" In response, Park Soo-hong asked, "What about making a family connection with Eun-woo or Jung-woo?" revealing his personal interest.
Additionally, Park Soo-hong's close friends led by Choi Eun-kyung made an appearance. 'Happy Time' was a program that aired from 2009 to 2017, introducing highlights of past episodes, and these friends had shared nine years of ups and downs with Park Soo-hong. Jang Young-ran remarked, "Jae-i is really like a doll. How does she have so much hair?" and Lee Kwang-ki expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for letting me see and touch such a beautiful baby."
As these friends appeared, Park Soo-hong shared, "There were times when I was happy being alone. At one point, when Jae-i was next to me, I felt really happy. There is a total amount of happiness."
