Park Hyun-ho and Eun Ga-eun from 'Marriage Class' openly shared their financial situation.
On the 12th, Channel A's entertainment show 'Recent Man Life - Marriage Class' featured Park Hyun-ho and Eun Ga-eun looking for a newlywed home.
With 30 days until the wedding, the couple set out to find the most important newlywed home. At that moment, Eun Ga-eun directly asked, "But how much do you have? How much can you give me?" and opened up about her financial situation, saying, "If I really stretch myself, I have 150 million won."
Then, Park Hyun-ho said, "If I sell my soul, I have 150 million won," and Eun Ga-eun remarked, "If we combine, we'd have 300 million won, right? How can we buy a house with 300 million won? We can't, can we? But I don't want to move. If I move this time, it will be my 19th move."
Eun Ga-eun continued, "Even if I get kicked out onto the street because I don't have a security deposit... I once had to rush into a place because a friend lent me money. I got scammed. I'd rather take a loan and buy a house even if it's a stretch, or rent for a long time."
In particular, the two expressed differing opinions about the location of the newlywed home. Eun Ga-eun wanted a larger house than the current one and said, "I don't mind being on the outskirts." However, Park Hyun-ho had a different stance.
Park Hyun-ho explained, "Wouldn't it be better to live in Seoul, which is closer for commuting and convenient, even if we have to reduce the size of the house? It takes me a real long time to commute from Yongin to the shop, sometimes up to three hours round-trip if it's heavily congested. How will I do the radio? I have to commute every day. So, we have to live in Seoul. Of course, if we have kids, it's better to be in Seoul. Time is money."
Then, Eun Ga-eun said, "But I want the house to have a white tone. I'd like a bathroom with a dressing table, a dining table that can be used more spaciously, and a bathtub as well," revealing her dreams for their newlywed home. In response, Park Hyun-ho said, "That's our greed," to which Eun Ga-eun retorted, "So if I want to go to a bigger place, it means I have to go farther."
Ultimately, the two decided to visit real estate agents to look for their newlywed home without narrowing down their opinions.
