That day, Cheon Rok-dam, who challenged with the name he adopted, chose Noh Hong-chul's song "Gong" for his final performance. Feeling emotional even before starting, Cheon Rok-dam said, "It was exactly two years ago from the surgery, and I feel divided into two parts: before and after the surgery."

He visited the hospital in Jeju Island where he had his kidney cancer surgery and said, "Living as Cheon Rok-dam, I've listened to this song again, and just the line 'You will come to know as you live' made me tear up endlessly." He continued, "If that incident hadn't occurred, the person Cheon Rok-dam wouldn't have emerged. I truly live with a grateful heart these days. My song has really given me courage and strength."

Cheon Rok-dam's heartfelt performance moved everyone. Seo Yi-hyun, who shed tears, remarked, "While Cheon Rok-dam was singing, his eyes were telling a story. The time he has lived, his seasons, all of it seemed to be captured in his eyes today, and my emotions were so stirred.
