The new MBC drama "Crushology 101," directed by Kim Ji-hoon and written by Seong So-eun and Lee Seul, is set to premiere on April 4th (Friday) at 9:50 p.m. It follows Bani looking for a boyfriend, entangled with charming men who suddenly appear after a first love that remains a dark chapter in her life. This romance is based on the popular Kakao webtoon of the same name, which has garnered 170 million views to date.
Following the first teaser video featuring Bani (played by Noh Jeong-eui) and the visually stunning Hwang Jae-yeol (played by Lee Chae-min), Cha Ji-won (played by Jo Jun-young), Jo Ah-rang (played by Kim Hyun-jin), and Jin Hyun-oh (played by Hong Min-gi), attention has been drawn. The video begins with Bani's monologue, "As a child, my criterion for choosing a fairy tale book was the cover with a handsome man." It showcases her firm views on romance through a prince in a fairy tale book. However, sweet moments are short-lived as Bani is summoned back to reality by a voice of truth saying, "I arrest you for delusions of grandeur," evoking laughter and tears.
Bani, who has become entangled with Hwang Jae-yeol to the point where it's unclear if they're fated or ill-fated, expresses her frustration with shattered romantic dreams, asking, "What the heck is wrong with that guy?" Meanwhile, Cha Ji-won stays by Bani's side, approaching her with caring charm, and a peculiar atmosphere builds between them during their working moments, stimulating romantic feelings.
Here, Jo Ah-rang is seen tying Bani's loose shoelaces and helping her in dangerous moments, revealing a moment of flirting mastery that captures attention. Additionally, Jin Hyun-oh endearingly ruffles Bani's hair, charming viewers.
Among the four brothers displaying distinct charms, Hwang Jae-yeol expresses subtle disappointment, saying, "That guy is my older brother, why am I the one being called 'senior'?"
