In 'New Release Restaurant,' eldest daughter Nam Bora of a family with 13 siblings rises to become a kimbap master.
On the 14th, KBS2 will air 'New Release Restaurant' (hereafter 'Restaurant'), showcasing a rich day in the life of Nam Bora, the eldest daughter of a large family of 13 siblings and a bride-to-be with a wedding in May. Nam Bora prepares a set of three types of Korean snacks, including tteokbokki, kimbap, and eomuk-tang for her younger siblings. The remarkable capabilities of K-daughter Nam Bora, born with a destiny for large quantities, are expected to stand out.
In the VCR aired that day, Nam Bora was in a lively family group chat. During this, when her younger siblings said they wanted to eat tteokbokki, Nam Bora suggested, "Let's have a tteokbokki party at our house today." When Nam Bora posted the notice, her younger siblings, wanting to eat tteokbokki, promised to come over, bringing laughter.
Nam Bora, the eldest daughter of 13 siblings, had been cooking for her younger siblings since the 3rd grade of elementary school. On this day, she began to make a massive set of three types of Korean snacks for her siblings. What particularly caught attention was Nam Bora's kimbap rolling skills. For kimbap, she cooked 20 servings of rice using 4 kg of rice and prepared a large amount of various kimbap ingredients with ease, sitting down to roll the kimbap without a bamboo mat.
Unlike regular kimbap, Nam Bora rolled the kimbap, which is overflowing with ingredients, perfectly in one go without shaking. Chef Lee Yeon-bok was amazed by Nam Bora's perfect moves in placing rice and adding the filling. On that day, Nam Bora rolled a total of 30 rolls of kimbap in just one hour, prompting another round of admiration. The 'Restaurant' family exclaimed, calling her a "kimbap master."
Nam Bora said, "(Our family) starts with 10 servings," and added, "Recently, I've made kimbap up to 800 rolls," surprising everyone. It was reported that she shared a funny episode she experienced while making 800 rolls of kimbap. The massive set of three types of Korean snacks, prepared by K-daughter Nam Bora for her younger siblings, and their honest reactions after tasting them will be unveiled on 'New Release Restaurant,' which airs on the 14th at 8:30 p.m.
