The funeral hall for the late Wheesung has been set up, and the bereaved family conveyed their requests.
On the 13th, Wheesung's agency TAJOYENT conveyed their stance regarding coverage of the funeral hall through an official press release.
The agency stated, "The funeral hall will be open to mourners starting at 11 a.m. on the 14th (Friday), and arrangements for coverage by photo and video reporters have been finalized in consultation with the team."
The agency added, "The bereaved family and related parties earnestly requested that the media refrain from reporting outside the funeral home to allow for a quiet tribute to the late artist as they pass on."
Wheesung was found in cardiac arrest at an APT. located in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 10th. He was 43 years old. According to the National Institute of Scientific Investigation (NISI), the initial verbal opinion from the autopsy indicated that the cause of death was 'unknown.'
The funeral hall will be set up at Samsung Seoul Hospital starting on the 14th, with the funeral scheduled for March 16 and the burial site at Gwangneung Memorial Park.
In this regard, Wheesung's younger brother said through the late artist's agency, "To all who knew my brother, and to those who have happy memories from his songs and music during his life, please do not hesitate to visit the funeral hall comfortably and help us accompany my brother on his way with warmth."
