Singer Jeong Dong-won revealed that he has grown 30 cm in 5 years.
On the afternoon of the 13th, Jeong Dong-won held a showcase to celebrate the release of his second regular album, "A Gift from The Man from Nowhere," at the Nodeul Island Live House in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and shared stories about his new album.
Having released his last regular album, "Nostalgia, The Giving Tree," in 2021, Jeong Dong-won stated, "As this is my first regular album in three years, I prepared a lot and feel excited, but I also feel nervous ahead of the activities."
He added, "While preparing for the regular album, I spent each day busily preparing without even time to open my eyes. I wanted to enhance the album's quality and, as it includes performance tracks, I worked hard to perfect the choreographed aspects."
Jeong Dong-won's new release, "A Gift from The Man from Nowhere," contains a special message for fans. Inspired by the novel "The Man from Nowhere," the album symbolizes the warm comfort and support exchanged between fans and Jeong Dong-won, serving as each other's 'The Man from Nowhere,' quietly cheering from the shadows and conveying love and hope.
When asked about the growth he has experienced compared to his first regular album three years ago, he responded, "I believe I have upgraded compared to three years ago, and I did it with confidence."
In particular, as it has already been five years since "Mr. Trot," Jeong Dong-won said, "I have grown significantly compared to five years ago. Five years ago, I was 146 cm tall, and now I am 176 cm. Also, I had good brothers and uncles around me for the past five years, and many people loved me, allowing me to grow positively."
Jeong Dong-won, who will turn 20 next year, spoke about what he wants to do as he becomes an adult, saying, "Now that I am becoming an adult, I want to learn to drink with the good brothers and uncles around me. I want us all to gather together because I like all my brothers."
