'I Am Solo' season 25 participant Kwang-soo's profession has been revealed to be a practicing physician. Notably, as the only doctor in Girin-myeon, Inje County, he treated over 20,000 patients last year and disclosed that his annual salary exceeds 500 million won, generating buzz.
In the episode aired on the 12th, ENA and SBS Plus' 'I Am Solo' featured self-introductions from season 25 participants. Kwang-soo's introduction caught particular attention, with female participants attentively listening when the soft-spoken Kwang-soo began to speak.
Born in 1988, Kwang-soo initially stated, "I don't think what I do is particularly important," adding, "I will explain the meaningful things I have done rather than earning money," catching the other participants off guard. He continued, "I dreamed of being a physicist and kept trying, but I found it difficult to concentrate and took a break. I've developed artificial intelligence and have a patent for it. I couldn't commercialize it, so I only have the patent. I obtained a master's degree in law," he said.
The participants were surprised by Kwang-soo's self-introduction but seemed to still have lingering curiosity. Kwang-soo's introduction ended, and he was asked questions. When Young-soo inquired, "What exactly is your profession?" Kwang-soo replied, "I'm not particularly proud of it and tend to not talk about it much, but if you insist on asking, I am currently a practicing physician."
When a female participant asked Kwang-soo, who is located in Inje, Gangwon Province, "Can you leave there?" he firmly stated, "I can't move because I am needed there." He also referenced "weekend couples" and mentioned regarding dates, "I don't mind if you come on weekdays, but I can't go. I can only go to Seoul on weekends."
In a pre-interview with the production team, Kwang-soo revealed that he is the only doctor in Girin-myeon, Inje County, saying, "There was one before me, but they passed away, so I'm the only one left. The locals are worried that I might meet a woman from Seoul and leave." He mentioned, "Last year alone, I treated 26,000 patients," and he stated that his annual salary exceeds 500 million won.
