Singer Choi Yena (YENA) and Tempest's Eun-chan have announced their upcoming roles in 'Villains Everywhere.'
Choi Yena and Eun-chan will grant their roles in the new KBS 2TV sitcom 'Villains Everywhere,' which will air for the first time on the 19th.
The KBS 2TV sitcom 'Villains Everywhere' (directed by Kim Young-jo and Choi Jeong-eun / written by Chae Woo and Park Kwang-yeon / produced by Studio Plum) is a situational comedy that captures the sometimes rough, sometimes warm daily lives of K-zumma sisters and their quirky family.
Choi Yena plays the role of Gyu-won-hee, the adopted family member of the Onara family, and is a second-year student at Peace High School. Gyu-won-hee is a music girl who plays the contrabass, perfect in every aspect including looks and background, but her life takes a turn overnight due to an incident, leading her to live in Onara's house.
In particular, Choi Yena has reportedly made extraordinary efforts to perfectly express Gyu-won-hee by researching the character from multiple angles. Choi Yena noted, "In order to become Won-hee, I also learned to play instruments. Since Won-hee is good at playing both the contrabass and piano, I focused on practicing by taking lessons whenever I had the chance," revealing her affection for the character.
As Choi Yena takes her first lead role in a terrestrial drama through 'Villains Everywhere,' she is expected to compellingly drive the narrative and make a strong impression on viewers.
Eun-chan plays the role of Song Kang, the eldest son of Oh Yu-jin (played by So Yu-jin) and Song Jin-woo (played by Song Jin-woo) in the show. He is the only hope of his parents, possessing a perfect combination of looks, height, and brains, and portrays a rational character with a 100% T-type MBTI.
Eun-chan, who is challenging his first straight role, expressed gratitude, saying, "Every time we shoot together, it’s so fun and new. Whenever I ponder how to create a better scene, I sought advice from my seniors Onara, So Yu-jin, Kim Hyun-cheol, and Song Jin-woo. They always provided warm guidance, which was a great help."
As Eun-chan begins his official journey as an 'acting idol' through 'Villains Everywhere,' attention is focused on how he will captivate viewers with his charm.
Meanwhile, the new KBS 2TV sitcom 'Villains Everywhere,' featuring Choi Yena and Eun-chan, will air for the first time on the 19th (Wednesday) at 9:50 p.m.
