The teaser poster for the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Haunted Palace' has been unveiled. While Yook Sungjae's mysterious Imugi visual captures attention, the fantastic two-shot of 'Imugi' Yook Sungjae and 'Shaman' Kim Jiyeon heralds the birth of a highly anticipated work that will write a new legend in the 'fantasy rom-com' genre.

Set to air in April as a follow-up to 'Buried Hearts', the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Haunted Palace' (written by Yoon Soo Jung, directed by Yoon Seong Sik) features Yeori, a shaman who rejects her destiny, and her first love Yoon Gap, who is trapped in the body of the Imugi Kang Cheol, as they confront the grudge-bearing Palcheogwi, resulting in a physical and spiritual entanglement in a body-snatching fantasy rom-com. Director Yoon Seong Sik, who has been recognized for his engaging storytelling in dramas such as 'Mr. Queen', 'Lee Soon Shin is the Best', 'Bridal Mask', and 'Dae Joyeong', collaborates with writer Yoon Soo Jung, known for 'The King's Face' and 'Cheer Up!', and a fresh cast featuring Yook Sungjae (in the role of Yoon Gap/Kang Cheol), Kim Jiyeon (in the role of Yeori), and Kim Jihoon (in the role of Lee Jeong) has been confirmed, generating high expectations.

In this, Yook Sungjae plays Yoon Gap, Yeori's (played by Kim Jiyeon) first love and a faithful subject favored by the king, but as he becomes possessed by the evil Imugi 'Kang Cheol', he faces a completely overturned life. Kim Jiyeon takes on the role of Yeori, who, while living as a non-shaman lens artisan, refuses her destiny as a shaman; she gets entangled in an unprecedented romance when the vengeful Imugi possesses the body of her first love, Yoon Gap, marking their first romantic comedy pairing.

In the meantime, 'Haunted Palace' has caught interest by unveiling a teaser poster featuring the fantastic two-shot of Yook Sungjae and Kim Jiyeon. The two are seen strolling through a flower garden filled with the breath of spring, showcasing a sweet pink mood. The gentle smiles they share, along with the beautiful traditional Hanbok attire that Yook Sungjae and Kim Jiyeon wear, stimulate excitement in viewers with their perfect visual chemistry.

Above all, what captures attention is the Imugi tail proudly displaying its unique presence under Yook Sungjae's robe. True to the legend of a creature that underwent a millennium of training in water to ascend as a dragon, the Imugi's scales shine with a mystical hue. Curiosity rises about what story will unfold between the Imugi unexpectedly possessing a human body and the human shaman who has lost her first love's body to the evil Imugi.

Meanwhile, the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Haunted Palace', expected to be a unique fantasy historical drama from the drama kingdom SBS in 2025, will premiere in April.
