Actress Kim Hee-ra will star in the occult film 'Savior.'
Today, the 13th, her agency Gram Entertainment said, "Actress Kim Hee-ra will meet audiences in the role of Chun-seo in the occult film 'Savior.'"
Kim Hee-ra confirmed her role in 'Savior' (director: Shin Joon, provided by: Studio Bigus, produced by: Mayday Studio, Studio Bigus, co-produced by: iFilm Corporation), which depicts a family's battle to escape from a terrible curse given as the price for a miracle they desperately yearned for.
Kim Hee-ra took on the role of Chun-seo, a character raising her son alone in 'Savior.' Chun-seo becomes embroiled with Sun-hee (played by Song Ji-hyo), who moved into the neighborhood, and finds herself at the center of a significant incident.
Having demonstrated her ability to portray characters across various genres in projects such as the Netflix original series 'The Glory,' the drama 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo 2: Counter Punch,' and the musical 'Frida,' Kim Hee-ra is expected to showcase her acting skills again in 'Savior.'
In sharing the news of joining 'Savior,' Kim Hee-ra expressed, "I am grateful to be able to participate in 'Savior,' which I really wanted to be a part of. I have done my best for a good performance, so I ask for much interest and anticipation."
The film 'Savior,' in which Kim Hee-ra will participate, has completed filming and entered post-production, with a release expected in 2025.
Meanwhile, Kim Hee-ra was embroiled in controversy after allegations of school violence surfaced in September 2023, and her agency later stated, "We met with those involved to organize long-standing memories and take time to understand each other. We decided to support each other's lives," thus resolving the controversy.
