Park Na-rae shared an anecdote about the 5.5 billion won house sink.
Today's broadcast of MBC's "Save Me! Homes" (directed by Jung Da-hee, Kim Mun-seop, So In-ji, Heo Ja-yoon, Kim Wan-cheol, hereafter referred to as 'Homes') will see broadcaster Pung-ja, Park Na-rae, and Joo Woo-jae head to Hannam-dong in Yongsan-gu.
This broadcast will head to Hannam-dong in Yongsan-gu, the heart of Seoul, South Korea. In the 'Bok' team, Park Na-rae, who has lived in Hannam-dong and Itaewon for a long time, and broadcaster Pung-ja will represent, while Joo Woo-jae will represent the 'Deok' team. Additionally, urban planning expert Professor Jung Seok will join the studio to discuss the history of Hannam-dong that we may not have known.
The three will head to the only mansion located in Namsan Park. Park Na-rae introduces it, saying, "It was completed in 1972 and was originally built as a hotel, but it diverted to become an APT. midway and was sold." She also mentions that it was initially registered as a tourist hotel and is not included in the count of dwellings.
Professor Jung Seok states, "Since 1990, the 'Seoul's 600 Years' project has been underway. In one of its projects, 'Finding the True Face of Namsan,' most of the buildings erected on Namsan were demolished. This mansion is the only APT. that has not been demolished on Namsan."
Entering the interior of the mansion, which retains hotel interiors throughout the building, the three cannot help but be amazed by the transformed atmosphere created by the entrance decorated with plant interior and glass round walls. Park Na-rae explains, "If it were a hotel, remodeling wouldn't be possible, but since this is a house for sale, remodeling is possible."
Despite being completed in 1972, the trendy atmosphere that doesn't feel dated captivates the three, and they begin to explore 'separately yet together.' Pung-ja, to gauge the owner's preferences, starts by checking the refrigerator, while Park Na-rae can't take her eyes off the latest appliances. Meanwhile, Joo Woo-jae is rumored to have become one with the massage chair under the sunlit large window.
After inspecting the bathroom with two sinks, Park Na-rae reveals, "I also have two sinks at home. I thought I would get married and made two, but I'm able to use them well morning and night," eliciting a sense of sympathy.
Afterwards, Pung-ja and Park Na-rae, who are admiring the master bedroom with a view of Namsan through all four seasons, are amazed by the owner's sophisticated interior skills and closely examine the bedding's brand. The two then confess, "We both bought the same comforter!", catching attention.
The three then visit a model APT. in Hannam-dong, raising expectations by claiming that they can enjoy an unobstructed view of Hannam-dong and the Han River.
The emotional exploration of Hannam-dong will be revealed tonight at 10 p.m. on MBC's "Save Me! Homes."
