Ju Jihoon spoke about his attitude as a senior actor.
On the broadcast of tvN 'You Quiz on the Block' on the 12th, Ju Jihoon, an actor from the Netflix series 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call,' appeared and shared behind-the-scenes stories from the set.
On that day, Ju Jihoon said he has been an actor for 20 years this year. He noted, "It seems that actors have an image that is first imprinted on the public. I first greeted everyone with the fantasy role in 'Palace.' When I was young, I wanted to shake off that image quickly. Looking back after some time, I think I should have done a couple more projects that were possible at that age."
Ju Jihoon recounted moments from the drama 'Palace' and made everyone laugh. He remarked, "The hairstyle and everything during 'Palace' were not my choices. What's even worse is that there was Lee Joon-gi around."
Ju Jihoon talked about what kind of senior he wants to be for his juniors. He said, "The juniors tend to be very conscious. Trying to treat them well can also be a burden, right?" He noted, "We talk about the scenes we shot in the morning while having lunch together."
Ju Jihoon mentioned, "It's okay when I eat from the meal truck. But sometimes I bring things like budae jjigae or sundae soup. I should order in advance, but I get anxious asking if they want to eat together. If they say no, then I need to throw it away. It's from my own pocket." This, too, made everyone laugh.
Ju Jihoon conveyed the message to his juniors: "Kids, feel free to approach me."
Ju Jihoon expressed, "There are times when I feel like I'm on a deserted island. When I go to the set, laughter blooms from all directions. But when I greet them with a good morning, it's like the lights go out and the laughter diminishes." This comment made everyone burst into laughter.
Ju Jihoon shared, "In the past, I once asked Jung Min about what to do when I didn't like the acting of the juniors. He said that if a friend's ability is at 60 but he is trying too hard, then we should help him. We're colleagues after all." He mentioned, "I try to be kind every day. I think I must continue to be that kind of actor in the future."
