The autopsy of singer late Wheesung has been completed, and the memorial for the deceased is expected to be arranged on the 14th.

Wheesung was found in a state of cardiac arrest at his home on the 10th. The fire authorities, who received a report from the family and arrived at the scene, performed emergency measures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) but ultimately pronounced him dead. He was 43 years old.

The sudden news has left friends, fans, and the public in great shock and sadness. In particular, late Wheesung had a concert titled "Wheesung X KCM Concert in Daegu" scheduled for the 15th at the Daegu EXCO Auditorium, making the situation even more tragic.

The grieving family of the deceased has notified that they will not set up a separate memorial and will proceed with the funeral process. Wheesung's agency TAJOYENT stated on the 11th, "Due to the shock and sadness of the bereaved family from the sudden news, they are unable to proceed with the funeral process," adding, "The bereaved family will proceed with the funeral process as soon as they feel composed, and the funeral will be held quietly with only family members and friends in accordance with their wishes."

On the 12th, an autopsy of Wheesung's body was conducted at the National Forensic Service, and the family planned to carry out the funeral process quietly among themselves. However, after much deliberation, they decided to set up a memorial and have a time of remembrance for the deceased.

Wheesung's brother conveyed through the agency, "To all who knew my brother and to those who have happy memories from his songs and music during his life, please feel free to visit the memorial and join us so that my brother won't be alone on his way out."

Meanwhile, according to a media report on the 12th, that day, the National Forensic Service reportedly communicated a preliminary oral opinion of 'cause of death unknown' to the Seongdong Police Station. It is expected to take some time for the detailed inspection results to come out.
