"Please take care of the eagle brothers!" is shaking up the home theater with its gripping story every episode.
In the KBS 2TV weekend drama "Please take care of the eagle brothers!" (directed by Choi Sang-yeol and Lee Jin-ah, written by Koo Hyun-sook), which airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m., the tumultuous career of Ma Gwang-suk (played by Uhm Ji-won) is receiving warm support from viewers.
However, the Eagle Distillery is facing several crises, making the drama more exciting. Dok Go-tak, who wanted to acquire the Eagle Distillery, acted rudely by abruptly presenting a proposal to acquire the distillery to Gwang-suk due to an unexpected obstacle from her. Despite multiple attempts to persuade her, when Gwang-suk ultimately rejected, he sought other ways to put her in a crisis. In particular, after Gwang-suk successfully secured the supply for the LX Hotel, which his company had failed, Dok Go-tak angrily spread rumors about her to Han Dong-seok (played by Ahn Jae-wook).
At first, Dong-seok was skeptical of Dok Go-tak's words, but after accidentally overhearing a conversation between Gwang-suk and Kang So-yeon (played by Han Soo-yeon), he was convinced of his misunderstandings. Additionally, after Dok Go-tak dealt a decisive blow that framed Gwang-suk as a femme fatale, Dong-seok became even more confused.
Meanwhile, Gwang-suk received a warning from Dong-seok about the cancellation of the supply of Jang Gwang-joo (the name of a liquor named after Gwang-suk and Jang-soo) due to the unilateral actions of her mother, Gong Ju-sil (played by Park Jun-geum). Moreover, Gwang-suk worried about Dong-seok, who was misinterpreting her conversation with So-yeon. Dong-seok's cold response, turning away without hearing Gwang-suk's explanation, added dramatic tension. It remains to be seen whether the two, who find it difficult to get closer, can clear up misunderstandings and restore their relationship in the next broadcast.
Compounding matters, Oh Cheon-soo's (played by Choi Dae-cheol) wife So-yeon returned suddenly from the United States, complicating the situation further. So-yeon demanded a divorce from Cheon-soo and sought a distribution of the inheritance from the distillery. Despite Oh Beom-soo's (played by Yoon Park) persuasion, she was unyielding, even visiting Gwang-suk to pressure her to sell the distillery and hand over her share of the inheritance. However, Gwang-suk firmly rejected the proposal to sell the distillery, and the conversation between the increasingly desperate Gwang-suk and So-yeon ended without finding a solution. After meeting with So-yeon, Gwang-suk tearfully expressed in the car on her way home, "Why do I keep crying? Like a fool," evoking sympathy from viewers.
Amid continuous crises threatening the distillery that Gwang-suk has painstakingly built after her husband Oh Jang-soo's (played by Lee Pil-mo) death, curiosity about whether Gwang-suk can protect the Eagle Distillery until the end is soaring ahead of the next broadcast.
