The group &TEAM, belonging to HYBE, has achieved the honor of its first award at the 'Japan Gold Disc Awards.'
On the 12th, according to the Recording Industry Association of Japan, &TEAM (Eunju, Huma, Kei, Nicholas, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, Maki)'s second full album 'Yukiakari' has been selected as one of the 'Best 5 Albums' at the '39th Japan Gold Disc Awards.'
Established in 1987, the 'Japan Gold Disc Awards' recognizes artists and works that have contributed to the development of the music industry in a year based on sales performance of albums and music videos released during that year, as well as streaming and download figures. &TEAM has produced its first award-winning work at this ceremony and has been recognized for its remarkable growth achieved through an album series inspired by the four seasons last year.
&TEAM noted through RAY, "It is an honor to receive the 'Best 5 Albums' award at the 'Japan Gold Disc Awards.' In 2024, we released works throughout the four seasons, and we thank all the LUNÉ (the fandom name) members who supported us through every season. We will work harder to become proud artists and use this award as a stepping stone."
&TEAM released its first single 'Samidare', the second single 'Aoarashi' in summer, the digital single 'Jyuugoya' in autumn, and 'Yukiakari' to cap off the winter, reaching the top of the Japanese Oricon ranking. Additionally, it showed a remarkable upward trend, consistently achieving the 'Double Platinum' certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (over 500,000 copies shipped, excluding digital singles).
&TEAM is scheduled to release its third single 'Go in Blind' on April 23 and will embark on an Asia tour starting in May.
