Actor Ma Dong-seok made a surprise appearance in the new game 'Death Stranding 2,' and the agency stated, "He appeared briefly as a cameo."
On the afternoon of the 12th, Ma Dong-seok's agency Big Punch Entertainment told OSEN, "He briefly appeared in 'Death Stranding 2' in a cameo format at the suggestion of Hideo Kojima," adding, "We are preparing another game with Hideo Kojima."
Previously, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that it will release the new game 'Death Stranding 2: On the Beach' in June. 'Death Stranding 2' is a sequel to 'Death Stranding,' which was released in 2019, and was developed by the renowned developer Hideo Kojima (head of Kojima Productions), who created the 'Metal Gear' series at the major Japanese game company Konami. In particular, the game's trailer featured top star Ma Dong-seok, drawing attention. While there was interest in his remarkable performance as an action star, it is reported that his presence in the full game will be limited to the trailer.
However, the fact that Ma Dong-seok is preparing another game with Hideo Kojima has been revealed, raising expectations.
Meanwhile, Ma Dong-seok will meet audiences through the movie 'Holy Night: Demon Hunters,' set to be released on April 30. He is in charge of the leading role as well as planning and production. Additionally, he is set to star in the KBS2 new drama 'Twelve,' dubbed the 'Korean version of the Avengers.'
