The creator of 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call,' Lee Nak-jun, shared various stories.
On the 12th episode of the tvN show 'You Quiz on the Block,' the creator of the Netflix series 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call,' Lee Nak-jun, appeared.
Lee Nak-jun said, "I wasn't mentally stable until last week. I was so excited that I kept searching at night when I lay down. I felt really good because there were a lot of compliments."
Lee Nak-jun recounted his story of refusing to appear on 'You Quiz.' He said, "I searched for 'You Quiz' creators and found Kim Eun-hee. I felt burdened and declined. That day, I did a show with Choi Chang-man, and he told me to get out right away, asking what I was doing."
Lee Nak-jun said, "The original work was quite popular in the web novel industry. I felt embarrassed when it turned into a drama." He added, "I couldn't even read the script. I just replayed the fantasies," causing bursts of laughter around.
Lee Nak-jun mentioned that the planning period alone took six months. He said, "It wasn't my field of expertise, so I had to do research, which took six months." Lee Nak-jun also expressed his interest in martial arts novels and fantasy. He noted, "My father is a martial arts novel enthusiast. He recommended a book for me to read since I was in 5th grade."
Lee Nak-jun expressed high satisfaction, saying, "When I see it, I can't think of anyone other than actor Ju Jihoon as Baek Kang-hyuk."
