'Sunduri' Lee Gun-joo broke down in tears, pouring out resentment and regret towards his father, whom he has been estranged from for 10 years.

On the 11th, the TV CHOSUN program 'Dad and Me' featured 'actor and shaman' Lee Gun-joo, who disclosed the heartbreaking family story of not having seen his father for a decade. He also shared his journey of walking the path of a shaman after receiving a divine call, touching the hearts of the viewers. Along with 'Representative son' Lee Gun-joo, 'Representative father' Lu Ching Lai, Jeon Hyun-moo, Lee Seung-yeon, Subin, and Lim Hyun-sik participated. This broadcast, which was the first of season 2, recorded a nationwide rating of 3.5% and a peak rating of 4.6% in a minute (Nielsen Korea, national standard), marking a pleasant start.

Lee Gun-joo, who was raised by his aunt after his parents left when he was 2 years old, recalled, 'The aunts were just in their twenties then. They spent those blooming years entirely for me,' as he became emotional. He expressed his gratitude, stating that his explosive popularity as Sunduri in the drama 'Three Families Under One Roof' was all thanks to the aunts who took on the role of managers. 'They carried heavy costumes in a large immigrant bag while holding me with one hand and went to the filming locations,' he reminisced. Although Lee Gun-joo and his aunts shared a bond like no other, they had different opinions on him becoming a shaman. Despite his aunts' opposition, Lee Gun-joo was drawn to the shaman's path like destiny, stating, 'I felt like I would die if I wasn't a shaman. Before receiving the divine call, I cried a lot with my aunts.'

Lee Gun-joo confessed that he had been subjected to monetary demands and threats from his father since childhood, during which he has been estranged for 10 years. Responding to his father's demand, 'Gun-joo makes good money, so you can't just live well, can you?' Lee Gun-joo expressed anger, saying, 'I have never lived well.' He continued, 'I thought it would end if I denied my father's existence. What on earth is a father-son relationship that would upset me this much?'

During the broadcast, Lee Gun-joo celebrated his birthday alone, while his divine brother, 'Divinely Possessed Love' Hwan Soo-hyun, personally made seaweed soup for him, creating a touching birthday moment. Lee Gun-joo expressed special affection for his divine family, including Hwan Soo-hyun, saying, 'I feel at ease when I am with them. We talk a lot about our worries.' He also showed deep trust in his divine father, who led him to his shaman path, stating, 'It would have been really cool if my divine father were my real father.'

Meanwhile, toward the end of the broadcast, a scene was captured of Lee Gun-joo waiting to meet his father, heightening viewers' curiosity about the father-son reunion. He revealed his thoughts, saying, 'Honestly, I didn't want to meet him. I thought about it for a long time,' raising anticipation for whether Lee Gun-joo will be able to meet his father after 10 years.
