MC Mong opened up about the protests from the fanbase of the group The Boyz.
On the 12th, MC Mong posted a lengthy message on his social media saying, "To the Dervies (fanbase name) who love The Boyz."
MC Mong said, "What is the job of identifying the needs that fans want in a realistic yet idealistic, delicate, and detailed manner? I always ponder this question and think hard about it," and he continued, "As a result, I will clarify some misunderstandings."
He stated, "What I promised to The Boyz is that there is nothing else but to repay the fans. It was to practice daily, work on vocal training, and write and compose music," adding, "I am confident. The Boyz will not be a fleeting star but will become an artist who will long endure by the Dervies, without disbanding, more than any other singers."
He shared, "The members have told me this: It's the first time a company has believed in the music we want to do and made us comfortable," and he asserted, "The company exists solely for the artist, fighting against any infringement of the artist's rights. The company, created by Chairman Chagawon, wants to be transparent, wise, and hates acts that steal rights and profits. It is the company named One Hundred."
Additionally, he emphasized, "Although it may seem like we are fighting to prioritize the artist, that is absolutely not the case. We will simply strive to protect the artist's rights more than anyone else," and he promised the Dervies, "From now on, One Hundred will endeavor to reflect and ensure that the Dervies can pursue confidence and happiness as true Dervies."
The agency One Hundred, led by MC Mong, has recently come under suspicion of conflict regarding its artists' appearances on KBS. At the time, One Hundred claimed that Siwoommin's appearance on KBS2's 'Music Bank' was difficult due to external pressure from SM Entertainment and KBS. Subsequently, the situation escalated when singers Imujin and broadcaster Lee Soogeun, under Big Planet Made Entertainment, skipped KBS entertainment recordings.
However, KBS Han Kyung-chun, the center director, stated regarding the conflict with One Hundred, "Casting and lineups are 99% up to the production team. Ultimately, this is a communication issue between the production team and the agency. I conveyed this position to a senior official in a meeting last week," and added, "(The claim of lack of contact) is not true."
In the process, artists under One Hundred also participated in a broadcast appearance boycott. Consequently, with the comeback of the group The Boyz scheduled for the 17th, the fanbase expressed discontent, stating, "The artists are suffering due to discord between the agency and the broadcasting station," even sending wreaths of condolence to the agency.

To the Dervies who love The Boyz
Hello, I am Shin Dong-hyun, Chief Visionary Officer of One Hundred and a music producer.
What is the job of identifying the needs that fans want in a realistic yet idealistic, delicate, and detailed manner? I always ponder this question and think hard about it.
As a result, I will clarify some misunderstandings.
An artist is talent and vitality based on humility and character.
What I promised to The Boyz is that repaying the fans is nothing else.
It was to practice daily, work on vocal training, and write and compose music.
When someone believes, that faith can produce a song, and that song will certainly change the fate of these friends.
This vitality will emerge from here, with Eric's endless efforts and obsession with composition, Jacob's hidden genius and Kevin's unyielding imagination, and Sunwoo, who has previously been given no opportunities given their talents, as well as Hagnyeon and Q with their curiosity in composing, and Juyun with her observational skills. We communicated every day while instilling confidence that we can do this.
I am confident that The Boyz will not be a fleeting star.
They will become an artist who will long endure by the Dervies, without disbanding, more than any other singers. Isn't that the most desired ideal by the fans?
No matter what else, if you look at the reasons I've been communicating with my fans for a long time while making music, you will understand.
The members of The Boyz have told me this once: It's the first time a company has believed in the music we want to do and made us comfortable.
There is no narrative as precious as that, and there is no poetry as beautiful as that.
We fight against infringements on artists' rights,
and the company exists solely for the artists.
Hating acts that steal rights and profits,
the company created by Chairman Chagawon, wants to be transparent and wise.
Although it may seem like we are fighting to prioritize the artist, that is absolutely not the case. We will simply strive to protect the artist's rights more than anyone else. We believe that now is the time to do what the big companies will not.
There is a version of a song included in the album 'Nothing' that Sunwoo sang from start to finish when we recorded this song.
He expressed a desire to sing it alone, and we were so happy to be making such a song that we wanted to keep it.
This song signifies the first chapter of an unexpected farewell.
It could be fans departing, or it could be memories and past recollections.
To the Dervies, I personally promise
that from now on, One Hundred will strive even more to reflect and do our best to ensure that the Dervies can pursue confidence and happiness as true Dervies.
And the name of my producer who participated in this album is Papt Dunk. ^^
Additionally, the members' units are also being prepared this year,
and we will become One Hundred that you can trust with unexpected combinations.
