Actor Ju Jihoon praised Choo Young-Woo.
On the 12th, in an episode of tvN 'Yoo Quiz on the Block,' actor Ju Jihoon from Netflix's 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call' praised his junior, Choo Young-Woo.
Ju Jihoon said he met Cho Sae-ho by chance before appearing on 'Yoo Quiz' and they became friends as they are the same age, eliciting laughter. Yoo Jae-suk stated, "Ju Jihoon appeared 5 years ago when he was 39 years old; now he is 44 years old."
Ju Jihoon talked about his feelings when he first saw 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call.' He said, "I have done many works based on webtoons or web novels. Comics or novels persuade the reader through text, which leads to heavy explanations. When this is transferred to video, it becomes redundant. Therefore, I worked closely with the director to reduce this repetition."
Ju Jihoon said, "In the middle of movies and dramas, we call them series. There are film directors and staff, and the script is from a drama. I think we need scenes that mix those elements."
Ju Jihoon noted, "Isn't this a drama? The surgery is so intricate that there's hardly any spectacle. We need to show these things, so with dramatic license, when blood splatters, real doctors would say that at this level, a patient would die. Since there is no right answer, we held discussions almost to the point of grabbing each other by the collar and passionately offered our opinions."
Ju Jihoon said, "The 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call' team consists of younger actors, yet I am very thankful. We all studied together. Since the director and I are close, we intentionally showed it among ourselves. We agreed to approach it like a college study group. We studied together for as short as 7 hours and as long as 12 hours at a time."
Ju Jihoon praised, "There's a scene where they go out to eat. Young-Woo ran and fell, bleeding profusely from his shin, but he received treatment and continued filming. Young-Woo had an inflammation somewhere on his upper body and underwent surgery. While rappelling and filming, it must have been painful. Yet, he said he could endure it and continued to the end."
