Actor Kim Soo-hyun is currently caught up in additional revelations from ‘Garo-seoro Research Institute’ related to the late actress Kim Sae-ron, but the filming and production briefing schedule for his upcoming project, ‘Knock-Off,’ is proceeding without disruption.

According to OSEN’s coverage on the 12th, the new original series ‘Knock-Off’ on Disney+ is currently filming its season 2 as planned, and preparations are underway for the first production briefing scheduled for next month. There have been no special changes reported regarding the recent issues surrounding Kim Soo-hyun.

In this regard, a related official also told OSEN, “The actors are currently filming as scheduled on set,” adding, “There have been no special changes or deviations regarding the Kim Soo-hyun issue,” while providing a cautious response.

‘Knock-Off’ depicts the story of a man whose life was completely turned upside down due to the IMF, who transforms from an ordinary office worker into the king of the global counterfeit market. It was planned to be released in the first half of this year. Given that ‘Knock-Off’ will be released in two parts, the season 1 production briefing was supposed to be prepared for April. However, the lead actor Kim Soo-hyun is currently in turmoil due to the ‘minor love affair suspicion’.

On the afternoon of the 10th, the YouTube channel Garo-seoro Research Institute published content titled 'Kim Soo-hyun Led Kim Sae-ron to Death (Dating Since Kim Sae-ron Was 16 for 6 Years),' relaying claims from relatives who identified themselves as Kim Sae-ron's aunt. The institute harshly criticized Kim Soo-hyun, claiming that he had dated Kim Sae-ron for 6 years since she was a minor and had been with her since the early establishment of her agency, Gold Medalist, but severed ties and demanded substantial damages after the controversy involving Kim Sae-ron's drunk driving emerged.

In response to these claims, Gold Medalist, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, strongly refuted, stating, “These are clearly false facts,” and added, “We plan to consider the strongest level of legal response.” In particular, Gold Medalist emphasized, “We are feeling deep sorrow over the news of Kim Sae-ron’s death, who was once with us, and we mourn for her. However, the dissemination of such false information by Garo-seoro is simply a repetition of the behavior of so-called cyber wrecker that the deceased struggled with during her life.”

Meanwhile, on the 11th, additional disclosures from 'Garo-seoro' continued. They released texts and photos from the deceased's phone based on tips from the family, including an image of Kim Soo-hyun receiving a kiss on the cheek from Kim Sae-ron. Notably, according to the family's claims, Kim Sae-ron in the photo was in the 3rd grade of middle school, only 15 years old, adding to the shock.

Despite being unilateral claims from Garo-seoro, negative comments directed at Kim Soo-hyun are pouring in, with many insisting, "We need to keep watching this situation."

Currently, regarding the additional disclosures from 'Garo-seoro,' Gold Medalist maintains its previous stance, and attention is focused on their potential announcement of further comments.
