In KBS 2TV's "Celeb's Secret Medical History," Lee Nak-jun, the original creator of the popular drama "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call," shares a secret anecdote about an encounter with a famous politician during his time at a university hospital.
In the episode of "Celeb's Secret Medical History" airing today, Lee Nak-jun, who is both a doctor and the original creator of the drama "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call," investigates the lives and deaths of historical figures such as Stalin, Roosevelt, and Churchill. He noted, "When I worked at a university hospital, it was particularly politicians who were reluctant to be treated in front of others," reflecting on the commonalities regarding treating politicians. Lee Chan-won agreed, saying, "(Because it looks weak to citizens and rivals)..."
Lee Nak-jun continued, "A mobile bed was brought into the consultation room. They covered themselves completely with a blanket... and when I pulled back the blanket, there was a famous politician," revealing a secret story from his university hospital days. The MCs of "Celeb's Secret Medical History" humorously engaged with each other, throwing around names of districts and social classes like hyenas. Ultimately, Lee Nak-jun confessed it was a "member of Parliament," and as the suspect began to narrow down, Lee Chan-won, who is known for conspiracy theories, became so excited that he almost stood up, causing laughter.
Meanwhile, the first four-term President of the United States, Roosevelt, attended the Yalta Conference in February 1945 and died months later, leaving many questions as his medical records mysteriously disappeared after his death. Unlike the previous Roosevelt, who carefully checked every gesture and word during his speeches, he was seen fumbling and stuttering in a speech immediately after returning home. It later became known that Stalin, Roosevelt, and Churchill, who attended the Yalta Conference, all died for similar reasons. The connection of death surrounding the three historical figures, often referred to as the 'Curse of the Yalta Conference,' will be revealed in this broadcast.
Korea's first medical storytelling show, "Celeb's Secret Medical History," which investigates the secret lives and deaths of historical celebrities, will air on March 11 at 8:30 p.m. on KBS 2TV. Also, after airing a special episode of "Celeb's Secret Medical History," it will continue to meet viewers starting April 1, 2025.
