Yoon Se-a of 'Solo Living' reveals her daily life with her mother, the 'first female noodle master,' for the first time.
In the 10th episode of the SBS Plus and E Channel variety show 'Solo Living' airing at 8:40 p.m. on the 11th (Tuesday), Yoon Se-a emanates 'real mother-daughter chemistry' with her mother, Kim Sang-soon, who is a Go consultant for 'The Glory.'
On this day, Yoon Se-a wakes up early, as a 'morning person,' and dedicates herself to Taekwondo practice. Regarding this, Yoon Se-a explains, "I will take the Taekwondo certified 1st dan test today," adding, "I have to memorize all the Taeguk forms from 1 to 8." MC Shin Dong-yeop, who observes this in the studio, encourages Yoon Se-a, saying, "It feels like just yesterday when you first went to the Taekwondo studio, and now you're already going for your 1st dan test; that's amazing."
In a warm atmosphere, Yoon Se-a's mother, Kim Sang-soon, visits her home. Yoon Se-a shares, "I asked my mom to take care of our dog because I have an important test today. Also, I wanted to see my mom's face and receive some good energy." She proudly introduces her mother, saying, "My mother is a 'first female noodle master' who has been featured in the newspaper as a new woman, and she still runs a children's Go class."
Regarding her mother's participation as a Go consultant for 'The Glory,' which garnered attention, Yoon Se-a noted, "Seeing my mom's name in the ending credits made my heart feel heavy. It felt like her tough times were washing away."
Energized by her mother's visit, Yoon Se-a then heads to the testing location by Taekwondo vehicle. In a solemn atmosphere, Yoon Se-a shows her nervousness, expressing, "I wanted to run away." As she stumbles during her last practice, the instructor raises the tension by shouting, "If you do that, you'll fail!" All eyes are on whether Yoon Se-a, having received enthusiastic support, can pass the Taekwondo certified 1st dan test.
Meanwhile, after finishing her test, Yoon Se-a returns home to make dumplings with her mother. While enjoying a meal with the homemade dumpling hot pot, her mother probes, "It's nice to eat like this with mom, but shouldn't you meet a partner now?" In response, Yoon Se-a brings up a past incident, saying, "Isn't it because of you that I went on a date with the Go master?" Her mother subtly updates her on the 'date guy,' drawing attention to how Yoon Se-a will react to the 'date guy' story.
