The male duo Mighty Mouse member Choplex (formerly known as Sangchu) revealed their last message exchanged with Wheesung.
On the 10th, Choplex posted a photo along with a short message saying "Wheesung."
The photo is a screenshot of messages exchanged with Wheesung, in which Choplex asked, "Friend. How have you been?"
In response, Wheesung welcomed him with, "It's been a while, Mr. Choo," and Choplex said, "I was curious if you're doing well, so I reached out. Should we meet up?" Wheesung also replied, "Sounds good. Let's meet up."
Additionally, Choplex shared a heartfelt photo of himself with Wheesung, adding the message "I'm sorry," evoking deep emotions.
Wheesung was found collapsed at home in an apartment located in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, around 6:29 p.m. on the 10th. After receiving a report from his family, the fire authorities arrived on the scene and performed CPR and other emergency measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene due to cardiac arrest.
The cause of death has not yet been determined. So far, there are no signs of external intrusion or criminal activity, and the Gwangjin Police Department in Seoul announced that they plan to request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to investigate the cause of Wheesung's death.
