The agency of actor Kim Soo-hyun is discussing responses related to additional revelations from the 'Ga-ro-se-ro Research Institute' concerning the late actress Kim Sae-ron.
On the 11th, an official from Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, told OSEN, "We are currently discussing responses after watching the live broadcast from the 'Ga-ro-se-ro Research Institute.' There is no additional official position yet," while carefully withholding comments. However, the agency stated, "We will let you know as soon as the relevant details are organized."
On that evening, the YouTube channel 'Ga-ro-se-ro Research Institute' revealed text messages and photos from the late Kim Sae-ron's family, based on tips from them. The disclosed messages included Kim Sae-ron pleading for help regarding a 700 million won compensation claim from the agency, addressed to Kim Soo-hyun. In particular, Kim Sae-ron pleaded, "Please save me," which drew attention.
The released photos also attracted attention, showing Kim Soo-hyun receiving a kiss on the cheek from Kim Sae-ron. The family claimed that this photo was taken on the same day Kim Sae-ron had previously posted a two-shot with Kim Soo-hyun on social media and later deleted due to controversy. According to them, Kim Sae-ron was in the 3rd year of middle school and only 15 years old at the time, which added to the shock.
Recently, 'Ga-se-yeon' has continued its critical broadcasts concerning Kim Soo-hyun based on tips from the family of Kim Sae-ron. 'Ga-se-yeon' criticized Kim Soo-hyun harshly, stating that he had a relationship with Kim Sae-ron, who was a minor at the time, for six years and had been with Gold Medalist since its founding, but demanded significant damages and "cut ties" when Kim Sae-ron's drunk driving controversy arose.
However, the Gold Medalist agency strongly countered this, stating, "This is a clear falsehood," and that they are considering the "most robust legal actions." In particular, they expressed their deep sorrow over the news of Kim Sae-ron's passing, stating, "We feel anguish and mourn the deceased. However, the distribution of such falsehoods by Ga-se-yeon mimics the behavior of so-called cyber lexers that the deceased struggled terribly against in life," and urgently requested, "We sincerely ask that these baseless rumors not be further spread, amplified, or reproduced in any way."
