Group U-KISS's Suhyun has embarked on a new leap as solo artist Shin Suhyun.

Shin Suhyun unveiled the entire music of her first single album 'i am' and the music video for the title track 'Why am I like this so easily' through various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 11th.

Since debuting with U-KISS in 2008, Suhyun has received much love for songs like 'Manmanhani,' '0330,' 'Shikkure!!,' and 'NEVERLAND.' In recent years, U-KISS's songs have been re-evaluated, and up until last year, Suhyun reunited with U-KISS members for complete group activities.

Early this year, Suhyun found a new agency and took on her first solo challenge, announcing a new beginning as solo artist Shin Suhyun through her first single album 'i am.'

The single album 'i am,' released on her birthday, contains the first steps of Suhyun on her new musical journey. The album records her efforts to find her voice, along with the thirst and resolutions felt during the process. You can meet Suhyun's determination to show a different side of herself.

The title track 'Why am I like this so easily' is a song that seriously expresses the emotions and inner changes Suhyun has built up over time. It begins with a gentle guitar melody and gradually builds with intense drums and guitar sounds, blending well with the emotional expression of the vocals and the powerful sound.

The lyrics express the complex emotions of love, as Suhyun infuses her own color based on her experiences and feelings, delicately portraying the affection and conflicts contained within.

“Why am I in a state of missing you / Was I trying to meet someone, maybe it was you / A way that doesn’t end with you / I hope I can find / Why am I in a state of loving you / Was I trying to meet someone, maybe it was you / The heart that rises day by day / Why am I like this so easily”

The music video released alongside features Suhyun passionately singing along with the band's session performance.

Expectations are high for Suhyun, who has showcased overwhelming high notes and vocal talent as the main vocalist of U-KISS, to present her unique voice and music through a solo album that captures her essence.
